  • awesome groove, just a shame that the ride and other cymbals are not amplified

  • i don't really feel this groove at all

  • @ZebraBear88 I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe I should change te title to singles and doubles groove ideas. Who knows..

  • Hey man, that is quite alright. I am missing an actual feel to it. I'm not one of those wankers who just criticizes everything for the heck of it, but it just doesn't groove... You need to hang back in the beat a bit more in my opinion. Also your timing needs a lot of work. I'm working on my timing at the moment too, it's just so important for the grooves.

  • @seannn90 Yeah that's quite the thuth about timing. But again I was just noodling really. Making up ideas has I was going along. When it comes time to play a song Timing Is my no.1 concern. It is indeed so important. But thanks for saying so. Cheers

  • how your bass drum sounds like that?

  • because he uses yamaha subwoofer...nice little thingy...

  • @kichammer dam i've been discovered :) And the tuning really helps of course.

  • FUCKING BRILLIANT!

  • how can you hear the the metronome?:-S I cannot hear it while playing...

  • when you hear the metronome you are out of time..when you can't hear it you ARE IN TIME!

  • not always the case....

  • @therealTOTOfan Yup that's about right. But no metronome on this one. Just me noodling away. Cheers.

  • @playdadrums wow that reply took you some time. lol that was so long ago i think i was replying to that other dude one comment below me. weird thing i still remember this vid xD

  • it's the same thing to me!

  • that is fucking sick!! that's my kind o drumming. love the base :P. UR AN INSPIRATION MATE

  • @DownhillDemon303 ah man thanks so much. i was just noodling at a few concepts i've been playing with at the time. And I had full blown studio to record and hear back what I was playing so I took advantage of it. Hope it gives you new ideas as well. Cheers! :)

  • i feel left out all these ppl playin with their left hand alot on the hi hat

  • Thanks alot guys!!

tuning.. just a matter of siting with each drum and finding that tone you like to then make shure it fits with the rest of the kit. Of course the kit will sound different in in every room since drums are very much affected in the room they are. And of course it helps o be in the studio I was.I will be posting some more soon so stay tuned.ask more questions if you want to.

    all the best! Denis

  • i like it very much! the solo was great, and the tuning of your drums are incredible! how do you do that? tunings with microphones??

  • Thank you very much! I ve been playing for about 15 years now. When I solo i try to be musical and not flashy, meaning have something that you could almost sing in a way.

Keep on drumming if in needs of some advice let me know love to help you out :O)

    all the best!

  • pretty nice, how many years have u been playing?, i just have been playing for 4 months. cya
