  • Great video! I would of loved to see you slice a dog or 3! I'm ready to do some wolf hunting! I honed my skills on 3 brush wolves this season. Self film all my hunts!

  • You people need to get a life. Ambushed by wolves, lol, that's a good one. I got mobbed up on by 50 rabbits, it was brutal, almost didn't make it out. Is the government testing out psychotics on people in Idaho? They seen to be really paranoid of werewolves or something.

  • Great story but do realize that there has been no wolf attack on a human in the lower 48 states since the reintroduction in 1995. Wolf attacks are extremely rare throughout the world. I am not suggesting that you should not take caution. Other large predators do occasionally attack humans.

  • Should of been carrying a grenade on you. Blow them pups up. Ha stupid wolf lovers. Don't buy Idaho potatos. Really? You're that in love with such a dog? Get a life holy shit lifes not fair. Quit your bithcin about hunting holy hell. Grow up

  • Why so many people in Idaho are so scared with wolves? There are many wolves in other states and in other countries, but some people of Idaho are threatened? It seems a deliberately organized desinformation spread by a few wolf haters. Do not buy Idaho potatoes.

  • Ambush? By the three wolves? What a bull shit. Do not eat their Idaho potatoes. Keep your candy ass home and never show up in wild places.

  • You were unable... Telling myths is better for your agenda. You are a lier.

  • Wolves eat elk. When there were plenty of wolves, there were plenty of elks. You hunt for fun and for trofey. It is strange why so many ignorant, nature hating people live in Montana and Idaho. They invent myths and use them as their ideological weapon, very much lie Tea Party did.

  • Elks belong to wild nature and wolves, not to you. Take a camera. Hunt wolves with sighthounds. This is the most green way of hunting.

  • I hate to break it to these guys-but you arent going to find any elk with those wolves singin

  • The education system was to blame .Idahoan residents got mad and say the wolves cheated when scoring on IQ tests.

  • Another reason i always pack a pistol with me when im hiking in the mountains, two legged or four legged predators.

  • to all you haters you message me and ill take you out to waha id where these wild beasts are killing off every thing in site i get you with in 50ft no problem they look at humans as food and you can go and cuddle with them and we will see what happens i have had them come in on me and my family gun shot dosent bother them at all to the rest of you guys message me and i will give you a real good area to smoke a pack of wolves

  • Stick one!

  • What did you guys do after the video taping stopped?

  • That is crazy, I guide in idaho so I know what these 2 hunters went through. And wolves howl for many reasons and yes they howl when they r hunting.

  • Omg very scary. A lone wolf tried to attack me, my sister, my mid content wolf hybrid, and my sisters akita (both 2 1/2 years). We thought the wolf was my hybrid because it was getting dark and then we heard growling and our dogs never make noise so i turned around and saw Kiba(the akita) attacking what i thought was Leon(the hybrid) but it was the wolf. I saw my wolf dog come from around the bush and charge at the wolf but it took off and our dogs just turned and came back as if nothing happend

  • Wolves always know how to ruin a good elk hunt!!!

  • Comment removed

  • What part of Idaho were you hunting in?

  • Its real. I would have killed everything in my way with my semi auto.

  • Thats nuts. Ant this is why I pack my .357 magnum when i hunt. Havent seen wolves yet but im sure ill bump into them at some point.

  • What a crock. There are no wolves in the video, and they have someone off in the trees howling during the day. Wolves howl for many reasons, but none of them are when they are supposedly stalking or following humans that may have come too close to their den. In either case these hunter would never know the wolves were there. This video is out and out crap and a lie. I have studied wolves for 25 years and the closest I've gotten to them is about 200 yards, and they never staked.

  • @Onesteprightofleft You must do drugs for a living, because there is no human who can howl like that.

  • @UGLYSTIKCOLIN Oh yes there is. I got good at it. But there were MN researchers I know that can howl in perfect pitch.

  • @Onesteprightofleft That's nice, but I highly doubt this a setup.

  • @UGLYSTIKCOLIN Look, the obvious is that wolves only howl for certain reasons, and they do not howl while they are dogging or hunting prey, like these hunters are trying to make us believe. Wolves are pack only hunters. Lone wolves will only attempt small game like rodents and rabbits. Packs are literally ruled by the Alpha male during a hunt. If that leader had decided to dog these hunters to see what they were up to, there would be no talking such as howling or barking. Period.

  • @Onesteprightofleft That's incorrect, wolves howl often while they are hunting they do it to coordinate attacks, it lets them know where each other are during the hunt. They do it at a specific pitch that doesn't create an echo so it doesn't sound like it's coming from somewhere other than where they are.

  • @XxSteelheadxX Please don't insult my intelligence. I would say "don't insult our intellegence", but there is not very many intelligent people on this site. You are mostly fucking wolf haters and nothing will change that. Nothing can fix stupid! I'll literally sign off with this logic. If wolves howled while hunting, they would give themselves away to their prey. As much as you and your friends think animals are stupid, wolves and their prey are highly intelligent.

  • @XxSteelheadxX See below. I'm far from a tree hugger. I believe animals that give their lives for food are to be treated as God's gift to us humans. I'm a rancher and I would be on your side if it was the truth that predators, Bears, Lions, Wolves or Coyotes were eating us out of profit. That is simply not true. In 12 years we have lost one colt to a Lion, and possibly on calf to a bear. However, we have lost 37 yearlings in last 2 years to rustling. Hunt & shoot rustlers.

  • We got those fuckers off the list again. Hahaha filthy tree huggers, it's time to go kill some wolves.........

  • that's some scary shot right there. From what i hear they are already in Ca.

Introduction of the wolf was a big mistake elk no longer bugle in some area's be cause of them.

  • It doesn't matter what these hippie bleeding-hearts say or think. They can cry foul and stomp their feet and clench their fists all they want, and they can continue to call names and question the intelligence of us hunters. In the end they have absolutely NO say in wildlife management. Nothing they can say or do will stop wolf hunting, because our wildlife managers are educated, pragmatic, logical and enlightened. I love seeing the anti's pissed and steaming; nothing they can do.

  • @kriteekme The pragmatic they are, but they are lacking intelligence. Watch your ass: population is growing, because of legal and illegal immigration and natural birth rate. The more people in the country the more targets for firearms. Hunting will be curtailed, unfortunately, and even the second amendment will be revised soon. Do not eat stinky Idaho potatoes!

  • Bruce H59 - huh? First where did you learn English - "saw"? Second, I don't live in NYC and as a matter of fact I've seen many wolves in the wild and never have seen wolves"stalking" humans! Enough said here!

  • Wolves stalking you? Give me a break..don't see 1 wolf in this video! Go home!

  • @kickinkats Kids living in downtown NYC with no clue. Have you ever saw a wild wolf. Duh you children with your lies are funny.

  • You guys in Idaho? I plan on bagging a few wolves this year. Got any pointers on where I should look for some?

  • @zZiglaf look up waha id there is a shit ton of them and no bag limits like their is in other units if you are going to go i can tell you just where to look you wont even have to get out of your lawn chair at camp to get one

  • you dudes are lucky to make it out alive...so it is true the tales about wolves hunting and killing people...because waht if you guys had of failed the test and ran?

Ive seen many programs and read many books where they say the stories of wolves hunting people are myths...I'll tell you its alot of bullshit info in this world

  • Thanks for the details, very interesting. The (bluff) charge may have been a case of mistaken identity - or may not. One thing we do know: if these wolves really wanted to kill you, you'd have ended up injured or dead. But in the end, their wariness of humans saved you from harm. To protect both people and wolves, that natural wariness of humans has to be preserved and encouraged. These wolves made an open charge - an unusually bold act. Such wolves may need to be taught a lesson with firearms.

  • Were the wolves responding to your use of game calls, ie, cow chirps, barking, bugling? Or did they actually stalk you and your hunting partners without any pretense?

  • Kill them all. They are destroying our elk. Only good wolf is a dead one.

  • @idahocountryboy51 yeah... kill them all so the elk can overpopulate and starve. Oh, wait... thats already happening. Oh, well... Kill them anyways.

  • What part are you in? I live in Idaho and I wanna see a wolf SOOOO bad! D:

  • is this a common thing in ID? this is the 2nd video i saw (so far) on here where wolves stalked hunters.

  • I told FWP that I had wolves surround us and they barked, growled and howled at us. FWP says that wolves don't bark and questioned my knowledge of wolves. Sounds like FWP still does not want the wolves delt with.

  • Too bad you missed. Its time to start controling them. Thanks for sharing.

  • we asked the wolves if they could recreate the scene ha what the fuck

  • also wolves are carnivores they eat meat... your meat my friend

  • hunting is something most humans have forgotten but in truth it is in our nature if rather deep underneath everything else. wolves are living creatures that does not put them in a position not to be killed. like humans wolves prefer a chase when they can afford it (adds a little fun to the hunt), if you don't run it's no fun. wolf lovers and other, humans are omnivores, feel like being a vegetarian? i hope you like nutrient deficiencies. - "meat is murder, tasty tasty murder "

  • I've heard the best way for their prey (human or otherwise) to avoid a full on wolf attack is to stand their ground. Creepy thought to think of being hunted like that

  • that is actualy really creepy. And i dont say that often being a wolf "lover" as ppl put it. At that point id say, "where's my gun?" That kind of situation would have me alert and ready to kill if needed.

  • lol thought it was a joke at first until i heard that howl which sent a shiver down my spine lol kinda dissapointing we dont have them here in england anymore most dangerous things we get is pissed off badgers lol

  • These wolf lovers are as bad as that idiot that got himself and his girlfriend eaten by grizzly bears. Wolves and other animals are not your brothers, sisters, or friends. They do not give 2 shits about you. They do not want to communicate with you or bond with you. They are not on this earth to perform for you as you watch from the side of the road. Get out in the real world and enjoy nature on it's terms. That is when everything becomes truly real.

  • These anti-hunters that say hunters beat their kids are total morons. It is actualy the opposite. Hunters spend more time with their families and bonding with their children. Unlike other people that plop their kids in front of the boob tube, or buy their kids cell phones so they can text each other. Children of hunters learn about the natural enviroment and other skills they can use in life. A large amount of kids i have observed cannot find their ass without the gps on their precious phone.

  • @9971explorer Great post stand up to the wolf cult and spread the truth.

  • Several years ago a pack of wolves near Mccall killed over 90 sheep in one night. I guess they were just killing the sick, old, and young sheep. Yeah right!

  • @9971explorer take a look through thier eyes. I only partialy agree with everything you said. Wolves only "respect" us if we do the same to them. An example. Back in 2002 a pack of wolves were inhabiting the area around a private airport in Alaska. They were being a little problemaic by laying around the runway but they were not a threat to anyone. Until they started being threatend by a few employees. One emplyee would throw large sticks at them so they became hostile. 2 weeks later he was dead

  • Whether some people want to admit it or not, humans are part of the enviroment. And since we are at the top of the food chain. We have as much claim to animals as any other predator does. Hunting is in our nature whether you want to admit or not. It is just as much in our Dna as it is a wolves. I find it funny that animal rights people say we are nothing more than animals. But then deny that hunting is a part of our nature.

  • Smoke a pack a day!

  • Put that recurve down and pull out the 44 mag and smoke those fuckers.

  • @blacktimberw . morals have nothing to do with it. either you want these animals here in the future or not. hunters save populations of wild animals, so nice try with the thorn in M/N side comment. we don't take whatever we can, if we did hunters would be shooting everything that moves and ignoring seasons and tag limits, which we don't. our job is to help maintain equilibrium in our ecosystem by ensuring there is a sustainable ratio of wild game/habitat/available food source.

  • ...JERK!

  • @ginjet27 These are manmade genetically engineered beasts. They are MEANT to kill.

  • we don't have a wolf season here yet but i hope they open one soon, way too many wolves. killing off all the moose and deer in the area. you have to understand that just because there's a season it's not fair game to kill every animal. they are limited by tag limits and season limits. you know how much damage a wolf pack does in a whole year? alot!! we hunt for a few days, weeks maybe a month (depending on the game), wolves hunt year round, whenever they're hungry. we're entitled to do the same.

  • @buckluck9pt Can't agree with you there dude, You may be 'entitled' to hunt legally but you're not morally. Wolves are part the wilderness & are an intrensic part of nature's balance, you are not. Like the rest of us, you are just a thorn in mother nature's side, taking whatever you can without questioning the validity of your acts. Wild deer & elk are not your property to dispose of as you see fit, wolves have a justified claim on them, your's is as bogus as your arguments.

  • @blacktimberw Are you kidding? We aren't an "intrinsic part of natures balance"? What are we? Everything on earth is part of the "balance" I'm guessing that you wear Birkenstocks, drive a subaru and hug trees. You, (pause for emphasis) are a moron. As top of the food chain I say what lives and what doesn't. Thats my GOD given right. As humans we have dominion. Until you live in Idaho and spend your time in our woods how about shutting your hippie mouth and get your nose out of our business.

  • @danhuffaker YOU are certainly part of nature's unbalance.. I don't do nor are any of the things you claim, I can't help you dude if you believe in God, just goes to show your intellectual limitations.

While there are ultra right wing pot bellied rednecks bent on the exterminationl of wolves..., I - WILL - NOT - SHUT - MY - MOUTH.....nor keep my nose out of your buisness,

As for who is a moron, I'll let the readers decide..

  • @danhuffaker Just seen your channel & I have to tell you dude, you do not look like you are at the top of the food chain, unless you're talking about the McDonald's chain that is...... you may have your guns but you have nothing of a top predator, no wonder you hate wolves so much.......they are everything you arn't.

    Have a nice wobble dude.

  • High numbers of elk does not mean it is a healthy population. Uncontrolled populations will eventually outnumber their food availability and cause the population to crash anyway, leaving the survivors in rugged shape.

A healthy population is one that is sustainable. Less fluctuation in numbers, healthier individuals, and a more naturally functioning ecosystem. I'm not sure where I stand on the subject of wolves, but truth be told they were here millions of years before we were.

  • So scary!! I hope we can hunt these killers again. Where abouts is this? My husband and I live in Wallace, Idaho.

  • to all you hippie's the blame of elk numbers dropping is not on the hunters. look at yellowstone! no hunting allowed but with the wolf re-introduced the elk are gone seems weird that hunters have done this. one more thing i live in MT and in my town the deer have moved into town and stay around homes why would this be? nothing more then wolves could have scared them from cover. come on FWP do your jobs and let us thin the packs!!!

  • @greenmole20 What are you talking about ?...since the re-introduction of wolves in Yellowstone, the elk & wapiti populations have never been healthier, ..................... To say predateurs are killing all the deer or elk is absolute crap, just like saying seals & sea lions are eating all the fish.!.....it's us that are causing the problem either by hunting, habitat destruction, pollution or our ever encroaching activities.......Predateur control is for nature to take care of, not man.

  • @blacktimberw

you are very uninformed partner. Yellowstone is in bad shape. the elk herds are not healthy there! where do you people get such shit put in your minds seriously do they teach to be fucking stupid in school or is it your dipshit parenting figures? I don't even know what to say because your gonna have an ignorant enviromentalist blind ass answer to anything i say. wait i do have one thing OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES. this world is not what it seems. stop saying its humans its a PARK.

  • @greenmole20 I am very well informed about Yellowstone, thanks, I get my info from biologists & ethologists studying the bio- diversty, not from some right wing hunting review, as for the rest of the crap you wrote, it says more about you than it does about me..........I can see you know more about " ignorant enviromentalist blind ass answers" than me.

It's true this world is not what it seems nor as I would like it..........not while people like you are on it anyway.

  • @blacktimberw

really? biologists in montana have done nothing but fucked up populations of animals here so don't give me that i get my "facts" shit. i have first hand experience with wolves and the elk population so until you do keep your mouth shut. every game warden i have talked to is disgusted with the wolves and what is happening to the game here. i have some examples if you would like to know them about biologists here. what drives you to think you have a bond with wolves?

  • @greenmole20 I can see your grasp of the English language is some what limited so I'll try to keep it simple.

I presume your obsession with elk is that you enjoy shooting them & you believe your sport & pleasure has priority over a natural predator's need to eat............ Kill the wolves & then you & your like will have more deer to eliminate................what miserable lives you must lead.

I don't claim to have a "bond" with wolves but I do accept their legitimacy to exist.

  • @blacktimberw how is it so easy for you to throw out facts? every critter the biologists bring in here and support from canada fails and fucks the natural enviroment up. if you want something else besides wolves look at the shrimp that ended the kokanee salmon in flathead lake and a few lakes in idaho as well. secondly i hunt for food i only get one tag for an elk and one tag for a deer a year. so no it really has nothing to do with sport. i take care of my animals from field to freezer.

  • @blacktimberw another thing on top of all that quit fucking saying natural when these wolves here now are not natural to this enviroment. if they would of thought about what they were doing instead of getting in a big rush and getting pushed by idiots like yourself to put wolves here things would be much better. trust me though someday soon they will have us killing off the wolves again if they don't all the game will be gone. hunters don't have the effect wolves do on a herd do to regulations.

  • @greenmole20 When you decide to say to something constructive or interesting, let me know Dopey...........................................................I've just watched a couple of your vids & it all makes sense now.

I can see why you hate wolves so much, they are far superior to you in every respect.

If I had to go through life looking like you & with the I.Q. of a toilet brush, maybe I'd feel bitter too

I feel you could be a better person but your'e just too thick to realize it..

  • Like it or not this is a smart animal, i have had my fair share incounter with these animals. I am a hunter but do not hunt the wolf for the simple fact that i dont eat K-9. i dont hunt to just kill. i eat what i hunt (lion meat is my fav next to elk.) good on yall for standing your ground though, just remember though you are in thier yard...

  • @Themadmarine1

Amen brother.., not sure on the lion meat... Is there a particular taste to it, or is it in the prep?

I only hunt ungulates for the same reasons you state. Got to have predators, for they bring natural balance.., and in return, more food to hunt for us.

    Be safe

  • @aamott12 It is not propaganda to say that the wolves are destroying elk populations in Idaho. If you do research on the issue, you will find that what you have said is misinformation. I am an archery elk hunter, I have done in the field research myself and studied the impact of wolves on the ungulate herds. I am also not a wolf hater. They need managed, and humans are the only ones that can effectively manage them.

  • @jnalj humans are impacting all animals period i mean wolves eat deer and elk its simple nature.....how are you going to say that the wolves are destroying the population their just doing what they have been doing for thousands of years before humans decided what was right and wrong for these animals

  • Where was this at? Theres a growing cougar and wolf problem around were i live. (on the edge of the fort hall indian reservation.)

  • It makes me laugh how a douche bag will comment on something they know nothing about. Wolves are destroying Idaho's big game herds and its high time the tree huggin hippie liberal freaks voice be silenced. As soon as the Bull shit ban is lifted I am buying a tag and Killing a wolf.

  • @aamott12

Its not actually a liberal move, the shoot on sight law to kill any hunter who accidently enters a sanctuary or poachers in general was introduced by right wing parties and lobbying groups.

When it comes to the big game herds, the problem was caused by humans not the wolves, its humans that have wiped out 85% of wildlife populations in the US. Go back before white Europeans came you had wild bison numbers at 65 million reduced to under 10,000 in a few decades.

  • @aamott12

I'm for management of wildlife, but to say the wolves are destroying Elk populations is pure propaganda.

I'm a hunter, not a liberal hippie, nor a douche bag.

Ethical hunters have learned to adapt as the Elk have.

I enjoyed your videos.., but now worry that you fall on the side of irresponsible ethics when it comes to hunting anything, by reading your comment here.

That's a shame.., hunters take enough of a bad rap as it is.

I haven't a problem finding Elk at all!

    Be safe

  • @packmentality Where are you at?! I can't find a elk anywhere! I live in North Idaho and I have not seen one elk all year. :-(

  • @Idaho278

C'mon.., you are kidding.., right? from Meridian to Sun Valley..., to Clearwater.., Kellogg.., Sandpoint.., where are you NOT seeing them, and are you actually getting off the ATV ?

    ;-D

P.S. I just finished the last of my Elk fillets with bacon....., hook a brother up when you do, eh'

    Be safe

  • @packmentality Dosn't matter now, Fish and Game took elk season down. Last year we had a search and rescue helicopter fly in (woman pilot) and they saw one herd of elk between Spokane and Avery. Elk fillets with bacon sounds really good. I'm stuck with corn flakes, yuk. >:-(

  • @Idaho278

Wow.., I'm surprised by that. I mean, they have moved about so places they were once strong may have been altered, but never seem to have a big problem finding them when I'm in state.

Corn flakes are better than nuttin' I'm jealous cause' you get to live in some beautiful country!

I love the west, but just wish wildlife management was in conjunction with both sides of the table. More would get done with better results.

Cheers brother, better luck next time out!

  • amazing! would have been really cool to experience something like this! ..but with my 30-06 instead of a bow.. ;)

  • Kill all those damned wolves! You anti's don't live out west and you know nothing about these things...they kill and leave the carcass to rot! I don''t care what you see or hear on the media side...that is all they want you to think...KILL ALL THE WOLVES!

  • @zgomer1

Wolves existed tens of thousands of years in the area before humans. You got the attitude of people in parts of Africa, they kill lions because they kill livestock etc.

However after a while in many parks a solution was found to stop the killing of lions. Wildlife officers were given the power to shoot anyone with a gun who entered the parks, during the first few years when it was implemented, many people were shot dead, however it has proven to be effective, cheap and efficient.

  • @Swiftab1e All though I don't agree with the saving or protecting of the wolves I think we should Employ this liberal minded persons means of wildlife protection at the United States/Mexico Boarder and I would believe it to be a cheap efficient and effective means to stop illegal immigration in to the US.

  • @aamott12

Again the same situation can be traced to fish stocks, in Sourthern Australia fisherman slaughtered 100 seals because they were apparently responsible for depleted fish stocks when fish numbers were always fine before the fishing industry exploded. Its suprising how a 1 year ban in the area resulted in fish populations jumping 8 fold.

  • u are killing wolves!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • The only good wolf is a dead wolf!! Gut shoot em all

  • lol are you hunting with a crossbow

  • this was a long time ago but now that you know the wolves territory maybe it would be fun to hunt them on another day since you had tags.

  • smoke a pack a day!

  • kill the bastard

  • with man gone, will there be hope for wolves?

  • @Oldschool205 Why dont you find out?

  • so you think quite seriously that hunters have nothing to do with that most large predators is or was being eradicated worldwide ??? wolves are a part of the food chain. They help to keep a natural balance. It's good for nature that there are predators.

  • @nillerwin So true! Why don't any of these idiots understand that! Wolves hunt for food, unlike these dumb a**es!

  • I know there's been a lot of back and forth comments against and for wolfs. i think people forget the food chain. I live in Idaho and I've heard a lot with the hunting of wolfs. I love wolfs and respect them as a predator species. But in my option with the whole food chain aspect. There is nothing taking out the wolfs to balance it. Esp in a area like Idaho. In my option. Stop a year of hunting of Elk. Cont. the hunting of wolfs and let the Elk repopulate. Only fair of a balanced for nature.

  • Leave them alone

  • if you kill one wolf you save a 100 elk

  • @2strokebeast479 not even slightly realistic, one elk feeds a wolf PACK for days.if you kill one elk you may be forcing an entire pack to go hungry is more like it.

  • Comment removed

  • @888thewatcher dude im talking about in a period of time and i know thats not realistic but they would kill a lot over the years..

  • @888thewatcher one elk does not feed an entire pack of wolves for days you moron. they kill eat what they need at that time normally just the hind quarters then abandon the carcass and never return it is the truth 90% of all wolf kills are like that.

  • Where is this in idaho, is it in the panhandle?

  • StanleyElkHunter: wolf litter size averages from 4 to 7 pups, this from multiple sources. Pup survival in the Northern Rocky Mountains is ~ 74%.

  • Idaho 2009 Wolf Hunt

Harvested wolves ranged in size from 54 to 127 pounds – males averaged 100 pounds, and females averaged 79 pounds. Of the wolves taken, 58 percent were male, and 15 percent were juveniles less than one year old.

So NickLikesTo Sweep, this seems to contradict your comment. Plus, the Goldman study was in 1937 and was based on an extremely small sample number, therefore it is most likely statistically irrelevant.

  • @ImmerTreue And where are you getting this information. Cite sources plZ.

  • @NickLikesToSweepPick skinnymoose/2010/03/31/idahos-first-wolf-hunt-wraps-up/

185 wolves "harvested". No 150 pound monsters. Also states average Idaho wolf pack was 7.8 wolves

  • @ImmerTreue Just read both articles. Seems in that department you are correct. Also, stated by IDFG, hunters complied with all the laws and are competant at managing the wolf population. That's from YOUR source.

  • @NickLikesToSweepPick Hey Nick, just to let you know, from what you can probably deduce that I am pro-wolf. You may see my user name on other sites. I am also pro-wolf -control. I had an extremely small role in wolf reintroduction, and one of my major concerns was control of the wolf populations once they were established. I am well versed in the need for genetic corridors for any wildlife population and that includes the wolf. Much I would like to say...

  • @ImmerTreue At least you're not one of these people with wolf mania to the point where they worship and anthropomorphize these animals. That's what bugs me most is people like that. I know that wolves will always be there from here on out, I just want to be allowed to manage them...so in a sense we're the moderates of both sides I guess.

  • @NickLikesToSweepPick Well, ironically I have a wolf fursona(Anthro version of me...), but im not gonna hesitate to shoot one of those suckers if they get close to me. I can tell you that those damn things are vicious, while they may be beautiful, people still need to remember that they are wild animals, and are not friendly.

I find wolves to be very beautiful creatures, which is why I made my fursona out of one. But I by no means worship them.

  • @NickLikesToSweepPick

    outdoornews daily .com/index.php/archives/11483

    Same stats

  • smoke a pack a day boys.

    fuck wolves and fuck liberals

  • when you see your previous messages I doubt that you know anything about anything .....

  • @nillerwin and being from denmark makes you know everything? I live in an area w/ a very high population of "canadian TIMBER wolves". Ten years ago we would see atleast 100-300 elk a day!! Now we are lucky to see 50 a year!!!! Please tell me why a wolf has a higher vaule than a deer, elk, coyote, rabbit, human, or yes even my house cat and dog, And yes the wolves came in MY YARD IN TOWN and killed both my cat and dog. Not to metion all the times I have been TRACKED(followed to make sure u know)

  • @stanleyelkhunter It is not because wolves are more valuable than other animals, but why are they less worthy? Is it because they are to blame for that you can’t see "300" elk every day? Do not worry the moose will survive. That is how it is when there are predators in an area. Wolves have been almost eradicated in the U.S where they formerly lived freely throughout the country, because of hunters like you. The only thing you should be shooting animals with are a camera.

  • @nillerwin You should really stick to affairs in Europe partner, you are in way over your head on this topic. The wolf that was re-introduced to Yellowstone and Idaho is a completely different animal than previously inhabited the northern Rockies. The native wolf, Canis Lupus Irremotus or Northern Rocky Mountain Wolf, greatly differed in size, behavior, and pack dynamic than Canis Lupus Occidentalis, the Canadian Grey Wolf. The native wolf hunted in pairs, not packs, and was never...con't...

  • @nillerwin ...bigger than 85-90 lbs. This new predator hunts in packs sometimes up to 15 and weigh up to 150-160 lbs. The native wolf could not take down in elk because of its smaller size and smaller numbers. Read the journals of Lewis and Clark, when they passed through Montana they remarked on the vast herds of buffalo, elk, and deer. They had predators, but naturally the herds were supposed to be vast. And who are you to say that I should only shoot animals with a camera?...cont...

  • @NickLikesToSweepPick HAHA shut up !!!! you are not worth wasting time on. From what you've written, you can see you nothing about wolves. "Hunting in pairs ..... shut up hehe.

  • @nillerwin You people are all the same, you throw facts your way and you discard them because your head is so far up your own ass with your hippie opinion that if someone showed you a dog that can look up you'd still say "no, he can't look up." You want sources, here they are: Goldman, Sylvan "Encyclopedia of Life" 1937. You can't use the PBS Nature channel to referance your facts on animals dumbass. Like I said, you have no lot in what happens here, stick things you know about.

  • @nillerwin Elk meat is some of the best tasting and healthy meat in the world, why would I want to eat beef pumped full of hormones and carcinogens when I can eat something completely natural, less expensive, and do it all relying only on myself and nature? Hunting that puts animals on the brink of extinction is history, it is so much more well regulated now. You don't know what you are talking about. Don't concern yourself with our issues because you can't relate, you don't live here.

  • @nillerwin why is it that no matter what evidence is placed in front of pro wolf people they still are like oh yeah well wolves do this and wolves do that and hunters are bad and hunters are the reason that evwery animal has gone extinct do you know why cause my mom said so and she is the only reliable source out there! fucking dipshits.

  • @stanleyelkhunter yes I live in Denmark now, but I'm actually from austrailen. I have family living in northern Australia where there are many saltwater crocodiles. It's damn annoying that you can not swim in most rivers. But you know what? It's just too bad. But hey why do not we just kill them all? it is not how to do?

  • saltwater crocodiles were almost extinct in the 1970s. Thank good people found out how fascinating these predators are. Today, they are loved by most in Australia. This could you learn instead of being selfish and only think about killing.

  • @nillerwin The true problem is that the wolves they brought in to this area are not native. If they would have brought back the smaller native Grey wolf most people would not have a problem. There were small packs of Grey wolves that the Canadian timber wolves killed of for their territory. Please remember that a pack of timber wolves will have about 15-20 pups a litter. That is with a 95% survial rate. Plus there are no moose in the area that wolves now inhabit. So yes i do blame the wolves.

  • @stanleyelkhunter I really do not think t it will make any difference what kind of wolves are in the area. Nature's balance has been very unnatural because of the hunters who has killed large parts of the worlds predators. The wild life in Idaho would have been natural and healthy with both predators and prey if not hunters have destroyed the narturlige balance.

  • @stanleyelkhunter "Please remember that a pack of timber wolves will have about 15-20 pups a litter. That is with a 95% survial rate." Next you're going to tell us that wolves weigh 200 pounds, right? Where do you get this stuff? "15-20 pups a litter.... 95% survival rate..." Pull the other one.

  • to bad the didnt kill you .... fucking hunter

  • @nillerwin Fuck you shit bird. Fuck the wolves kill em all.

  • @SportHunter4Life Human ignorance. Really sad. Wolf has lived throughout North America . You have no right to decide that they do not belong in a particular area. If you dislike the wildlife then move to a place where there are no predators.

It's pathetic you need to sneak to a animal and then shoot it from far away to feel big.Dont you dare to step into a ring and fight someone your own size? pussy

  • @nillerwin HAHA is that so? Fuck yourself, step into a ring and fight someone my own size pussy? Seems your ignorance boasts your confidence shitbag. I live amongst wolves and see the damage they are inflicting on the local wildlife. I'll shoot everyone I see, and I will even after I am caught.....if ever. So cram all your BS facts up your ass. Everyone who lives in wolf country knows what to do about em.....prick.

  • @SportHunter4Life well it's not me that needs to shoot a helpless animal on a long distance to fell like a tough guy. Hunters a funny. Sad and pathetic, but funny. Grow some balls coward. " I live amongst wolves and see the damage they are inflicting on the local wildlife"

    Ohh and whats that??

  • @nillerwin Oh and what's that damage the wolves are doing to the wildlife hey smart ass? NEWSFLASH the wildlife is void in wolf infested areas, moron. It's stupid fuckwits like you who idiolize the wolves and think they are something special. If you know not in what you speak, keep your mouth shut city slicker. Does being a liberal tree hugger make you feel tough? I'll kill every wolf I see, as will most people in this area....keep up the fight.....U R not winning asshole.

  • @SportHunter4Life let me guess. You are not an educated man. So you need to stand behind your gun and kill healthy animals in order to feel great? Furthermore, you are too big of a coward to fight against people your own size.

You probably beat your wife and children when you are drunk.

  • @SportHunter4Life The only effect wolves have on an area's nature is that there will be a decrease in area’s Mammals. So you are upset that they feed on the animals that you like to kill for fun? hmmm Then you have to just beat your kids more often so you can feel like a tough guy.

  • @nillerwin Don't stereotype me mother fucker. I know all about wolves....to hell with em. Stick yo stuff you know most about.....soy burgers and cement....fuckin moron.

  • @SportHunter4Life "Fuck yourself... pussy... .shitbag... up your ass.... prick" You're about 14 years old, right?

  • @sunsdomain Haha...eat shit loser.

  • Nice to see a recurve hunter, like me

  • I live in NW Montana, and it used to be a pretty regular thing to hear an elk bugle in the fall. But since the government shoved these wolves down our throats and they're now overpopulated, elk are getting more and more rare in these parts. A great big thanks to all the bunny huggers out there!!!!!!!!! Down with wolves!!!!! Long live the elk!!!!!!! WOLVES ARE NOT ENDANGERED!!!!! iF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT WOLVES REALLY DO, AND I HAVE WITNESSED THIS MYSELF, GO TO saveelk.com

  • @wardupyo Amen brother....SSS.

  • I don't see any wolves

  • funny. in the great lake states they have no elk. they have an average whitetail deer population and a modest moose population. wolf are not hurting their numbers are they? idaho has more wilderness area than any other state in the lower 48. wolves belong there. they were here long before you were. quit being selfish babies.

  • @lycan7hropy1975 It shows you have no idea what you’re talking about when it comes to Idaho’s wolf problem. The wolves that were introduced to Idaho were not the same original species. The species that were introduced were not the Grey wolfs, they were Canadian Timber Wolfs which are much larger, have a much greater territorial area, and over all are more aggressive and wasteful of their kills. I blame the government for making such a big mistake. Don’t post on a subject you’re not ready for.

  • @IdahoJoe125 - Lycan just doesn't understand, is all. I also blame people's whose priorities need to be redirected. Like, protecting America's endangered speices. Or something else worth while. From one Idahoian to another, peace.

  • @lycan7hropy1975 - Lol!!! Babies?? Did you read my post? I said we will trade out wolves with you. I don't know why they didn't take some of your wolves and relocate them here, since the origonal ones were wiped out. But what is done is done. The wolves in Idaho have 60+ pounds on the wolves anywhere in the US. Have you been to FL? How do you compare a alligator to a Austrialian croc?

If you really want to protest something of value, I do suggest speaking out for America's endangered animals.

  • @lycan7hropy1975 I live in upper Michigan and wolves ARE decimating the deer population, ignorant fool.

  • @symingto- i live in payette you dumb fuck. and i am from baker city. the only thing that needs to be done is they need to control the population better. there are simply too many wolves then central idaho can handle. they have been found as far south as weiser and caldwell and now they have seen them on eagle cap in oregon.

a wolf is a dog. if you put any dog in a chicken cage with 10 chickens it is gonna kill all 10 chickens. thats how it is. but if people did not hunt elk? elk would be fine

  • That must have been fairly unsettling...

  • Dear johnjohn,

Hey tough guy! Lets use your logic (or lack there of)! So anything that kills elk, must be killed, right? Better start eating bullets then, Ace. Idiots like you give all hunters a bad name. Wolves eat what they kill as opposed to most trophy killers and highschool heros like yourself. Be a man for once in your life instead of a little boy.

  • Guess what Lycan you must be a wolf romantic and fantasizer cause the wolf numbers are way too high idaho and the state says so. You do not understand the politics and money involved with it. the wolf there is not the same as the original indiginous wolf, but one third larger. other states have their numbers under better control. Just came back from Montana, wolves had killed the litters of several cougars, made bears seek food elsewhere like eating people, moose, elk decline, your stupid.
