According to the USGS it was a 5.7 with an epicenter 95 miles southeast of Mexico City and 34.8 miles down the surface. It hit Mexico City ~23.1 seconds after it started in Puebla. However, larger S waves (side to side motion) than P (up and down motion) waves made it feel stronger than it was.
