Unfortunately I believe that most Greek Cypriots have come to the conclusion that Alexander Downer is not helping AT ALL infact he is making the situation a lot worse!

The man obviously has a sense of humour that might make even Dame Edna envious, and can only be surpassed in amusement value by the fact that the Moon fellow (who the heck is HE one asks onesself, and has anyone ever heard of HIM making a statement about anything of consequence since he came to power) has decided to employ him. As a Cyp, one has to say one hopes Downer will be more successful at helping find peace in Cyprus than he was in helping find WMD in Iraq !
