  • The pictures make this song 10x better haha

  • Hey idiots who say Billy should "bury the hatchet" with James and D'arcy, it wouldn't happen. Billy tried that in 06. James and D'arcy both said that they would not join due to billy's arrogance even though he personally apologized to both. So before you blame one, stop and think that it was all 3 of them.

  • Can anyone play the solo at 3:23 till the end just as good as Corgan? Billy Corgan is such an underrated guitarist and his technique is fantastic!!

  • Early Pumpkins was Soooo perfect... :-(

  • good solo...

  • brilliant stuff, certainly does that song justice.

  • This tune and their first record are the only music they ever recorded that's worth the time to listen to.

  • This song is so freaking amazing! In terms of instrumentation and production I could actually hear this being on Teargarden! Anyone else agree? "Freak" seems to have a similar vibe to it. Fucking incredible solo! Just freaking ridiculously good!

  • @easternmind The Teargarden song that was worked on during the live Ustream studio broadcast reminds me of both Freak and Untitled. This is a good sign!

  • @lisam805 Yeah, I definitely hear that! Lonely is the Name sounds really great. It has that old school SP sound to me, but it is still something fresh and new! Amazing how BC can just keep that feeling with every album, at least for me.

  • from which song was 2:30 taken?

  • It took me awhile to remember, but it's from the last few seconds of Rhinoceros.

  • @pumpkinnovation

cheers! that's rather cute footage there on Rhinoceros, check Jimmy's come hither look @2:06

  • I like to pretend this is the first single from Teargarden. ;)

  • awsome vid

  • i don't think it's disrespectful not having melissa in the video. this was to be the last pumpkins release/video ever and while i do think she's awesome, she didn't play on this song nor was she part of the pumpkins legacy.

  • where's melissa? her exclusion is disrespectful...

  • to me the smashing pumpkins will always be billy james darcy and jimmy. but whats really sad is what they'ev or should i say what billy has become. he has no right to call himself and his side project the smashing pumpkins. its a discrace not only to james darcy and now jimmy but it was also a discrace for melissa as well. the smashing pumpkins always have and always will be my favorate ban,but i wont buy another new pumpkins record or go to one of their shows till its the original 4 again.

  • srry misspelled band xD. and like i said it will never be the smashing pumpkins again till its all 4 of them. untill then its just another one of billy's side projects. he needs to grow up bury the hatchet with james and darcy,

  • I like how these comments are "making a stand" against Billy's "arrogance". He totally understands how using the band name could be offensive, he's brought the issue up several times, and when it comes down to it, Smashing Pumpkins is the first band he's ever opened up his soul with, and the only band he'll ever feel totally comfortable doing so with. So it's not being disrespectful to his old bandmates, but if feeling like it's SP, like it used to feel, is how he gets inspired, why not?

  • @Guitartod420 I really think Siamese Dream should be called Billy Corgans first solo album becaue who the hell are we fooling it was written by Billy, Billy on Lead Guitar, and Billy on Base Guitar. James Iha wrote the introduction for Mayonnaise and Mike Mills of R.E.M. helped write the music for Spaceboy, so he did as much, or more as James. Should we cry and say "Boo hoo I wish Mike Mills would come back."

  • @nicholsjoshua15 It's strange how numerous SP fans have dismissed D'Arcy and James's input like they din't exist or even matter. From day one in the back of all fans minds we kinda knew Billy played on everything, aside from the drums and being able to mimick D'Arcy's voice (and he would've if he could've), on the final cuts on all the albums. And I bet many dumped cuts with all 4 of 'em sound the exact SAME. It's what the others brought to the table is what shaped Billy and the Pumpkins entity.

  • she had nothing to do with this maybe...

  • Song is the best

  • this is on the greatest hits album

  • The drumming here is EPIC, and it's just an amazing son. Love it.

  • i thank the pumpkins so much for making this song it relaxes me so much

  • heck yeah! one of my fav. SP songs. love it.

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome. This song has everything, brings back so many memories. Until they are completely gone pumpkins will never get the proper recognition they deserve. Screw u U2, Nirvana and all the other wannabes, corgan is timeless. Smashing Pumpkins at their best. Timeless!!!!

  • @VonDeadLock

Nirvana a wanna be?? are u serious? YOU have no idea what Nirvana Brought to the people back in the 90s .. dude no offence but find out more about it. you'll never regreat.

  • @VonDeadLock

Fuck U2, but NIRVANA? Are you insane? Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins are the two best bands of the 90's. Don't talk shit...

  • i love this fucking song its so awesome

  • whos all in the band now 2008?

  • COOLIO!!!

  • such a good vid.

  • Nicely put together. Great work from a huge Pumpkins fan.

  • Thirty-Three has such a cool vid. I liked the idea for the Siva vid too. They just grabbed a camcorder and ran around in the park. xD

  • The one part-shot with a camcorder was Rhinoceros.

  • Oops, that's what I meant. =p

  • So much better than Zeitgeist. I miss this kind of stuff. :\

  • why is this 5 months old and with only 4000 views, this is an AWSOME video, and it deserves more, lol u had me trying realy hard to figure out the vid when u flicked between them realy fast at the end, LOL this is one of my favorite'Happy' SP songs and SP r great thx for making this and i have favorited it

  • Nice job, couldn't have picked a better band.

  • I love this song.

  • There is another montage of the song on YouTube that uses clips from the band's history that I thought was great, and others have already posted the DVD version, so I hope this will be something different and fun for fans to watch.

  • The video for "Untitled" released on the Greatest Hits Video Collection DVD was just clips of Billy, Jimmy, and James recording it in the studio ... not much of a music video.

I love the song and thought it deserved something better, and more appropriate, to celebrate everything that was The Smashing Pumpkins, especially since I made the video back in 2004 before there were any serious talks about a reunion.

  • Why didn't you just use the video for Untitled that the band released or at least include some clips from that video here?
