Both of the cards are identical, hold them one way up and they say trick, the other way and they say treat, he decides whether he wants to do a trick or a treat way before he goes to see the "victim" and turns both the cards after shuffling so they're the same... Though in this one it didn't matter as you never got to see the face of the card she picked lol...
