The next week, starting DT tears HIS ACL and is out for the remainder of season. also in our bidistrict game our QB franctured his ankle and never ran the same afterwards. again, not making excuses or taking anything away from the Mules, just think had we been competely healthy.. the semifinal game would of been alot closer.

i remember playing these guys in the semi-finals. im from Pilot Point. yeah i no, hate on me, lemme here it. im not making any excuses for us that year but we basically walked in the semis on a walker. i played center for us and i tore my MCL in the first playoff game but was able to continue to play the following week. about 70%, Our next game, our starting RB Cooper Guthrie tears his ACL and miniscus, done for the year.

Congrats to Muleshoe!! There is always going to be someone hatin, trying to bring you down, saying it should have been them or they got cheated by the refs, whatever!! Muleshoe handled K-ville on the field and that's why they have the rings to prove it!! Don't be mad, because it wasn't you. Be proud that you made it to State Championship, believe me in the state of Texas that is a big deal in itsself!! Plus Muleshoe has one of the best football coaches in the state of Texas in Caoch Wood!!

seriously, i dont even care, i feel sorry for people that cant be enough of a man to accept a loss... i hate losing too but i can at least do it without making completely irrelivant excuses... yes kville was a very skilled team... but it wasnt even a close game... we out smarted them, had a better gameplan, and were more well-coached... and we were not dirty at all... we just played harder than everybody else.

yea..kville did shoot themselves in the foot. Our QB didnt get his head in the game until about the 3rd quarter. And that muffed punt just brung everyones momentum down..Everyone gave up..and thats why we lost it. But i will give it to muleshoe they are a good football team.

I broadcast this game and it was a ver intense game until Kirbyville shot themselves in the foot. With that being said....Start of the 3rd there was a lot of nevous people on the sidelines and in the stands for the Mules. That was Kirbyville MO in the semi final game....but the muffed punt in the third was the back breaker. My hats off to them for the win and to both teams on a great season.

apples and oranges....when the 3rd qtr started Kville had the momentum getting to within a TD and stopping the mules on consecutive drives(something they couldn't do until that point). the second stop was when the muffed punt happened and it took all the wind out of their sail. I am not saying that Muleshoe didn't deserve to win! They were the better team that night. As a nuteral I was expecting a better game. 2 many mistakes cost Kville. 2 INT's in the redzone will not win a football game.

I think we played Portales, NM for a number of years... We also used to play against Gattis back in junior high but as you state... Clovis is a much larger school... Perhaps a more fair comparison would be if you were to take on Amarillo Tascosa, Lubbock Coronado, Midland Lee, Odessa Permian...
