There is lots of ways... But the simplest way for you is get a traxxas water proof servo and traxxas waterproof xl5 esc with the traxxas stampede waterproof reciever box.

Tamiya lacs power traxxas dosnt traxxas bandit xl-5 is water proof and has a xl-5 speed controler titan brushed mtor 12t that dose not lac power it has a tone and its a buggy tayima has no power if you get brushless then you have power but not at stock traxxas has power and good shocks and motor and speed controler esc at stock.

motors, batteries and servos are fine underwater, just need to put the reciever and esc in a water proof box.

I put my recievers in ballons with the end zip-tied and siliconed and escs in a tupperware sealed container.

i use standard silver tamiya motors and cheap servos for anyting going in.through water and save the expensive stuff for my crawler and buggy.

Excellent vid! 5/5 and fave. Most folks are afraid to get their RC gear wet like that. But if you're prepered for it, no problemo! If you don't have a sealed box in the chassis, you can buy a fully waterproof speed control, from someone like Mtroniks. You can open up the receiver and servo and add silicone sealer all around them. Or, in the old days, we used to stretch balloons over them and tie it tight round the wires with a cable wrap. Motors & nicads are fine in water.

Good job! Instead of grease though you could also use shoe goo to seal the wires coming out of the ballon/battery. If I was driving an extreme conditions like that I would use plastic bushings instead of ball bearings and seal up the transmission/gear boxes at the cracks with shoe goo as well. (for dirt not to enter). Shoe good really holds and its fairly easy to peel off.

I used balloons and put the reciever in one and put thick grease in the end of the balloon where thewires come out then i used a tie wrap on it to seal it...then i put another one over it ... battery was in a plastic bag servo treated with corrosion X ...sprayed on the board.

the batteries can get wet thats how they use them in boats. and no the batteries are not it any waterproofing at all. they would be fine as long as they wernt lipo and in the vid they were not lipos
