The English people respect talented players. Gianfranco Zola is a perfect example, not just because he's my favourite player. He wasn't really that spoken about in Italy. But he came to England and left as one of the best ever players and most loved by everyone.

Van Nistelrooy, Makaay, Kluivert, Bergkamp, van Hooijdonk. Thats kinda competition, hehe. Although he never had equal chances to proof himself in my opinion. If he had played now, he would have been the undisputed nr one for sure!

Well, at that time there were Makaay, v Nistelrooy, Bergkamp and Kluivert. It's not that he's bad, but there were just to many world class strikers to choose from.

Three of the absolute top strikers in the world and finally Van Hooijdonk as the tall pinchitter to bring physical power. So logically Hasselbaink just wasn't in the picture.
