I grew up on a SW London estate & even though I was young I remember elements of this film,for instance I had a sergio tacchini tracksuit as most of the older kids used to wear alot of this clobber.We used to Breakdance & fight whether it be another part of the estate or another school,the older kids would go to Chelsea to have a row.'Chav' mainly the middle classes use this word to mock a working class kid.The kids in the 80's were doing exactly the same as Mods/Rockers 15 years previous.

Sorry fella but I watched the original on DVD again on Monday and pretty much as I remembered, it bears no representation of my recollection of FV. When did any of the fella's posting on this thread go to the match in a suit ffs. Nah mate, this version with rakes of designer sportswear is a more how I remember it.
