85 yrs. ago today - Rudy passed away. So sad. Chaplin said: "There always seemed to be a sadness in Valentino".

He didn't have to die. Such poor medical care.

I adore him. The way he makes love to a girl - noone like him. Ever.

I've a dream to go back to his time. I adore him.

EXCELLENT VIDEO!! I've watched your magnificent video many times and I can't believe I didn't comment till now. Your editing and choice of music are outstanding.

I wish there were more scenes that featured Rudy dancing. He is absolutely incredible. His commanding presence, the way he dominates and leads yet also holds his partner in a tender embrace, the passion he exudes, his graceful movements, how he holds the woman in his glance, I would give just about anything to dance with Rudy.

Thank you so much for this - I have been looking for someone who has cut all the different dances Rudy does in his films. Wow just imagine being held in those arms and led around the floor - I think it would have been like being in a trance.

You have done a good job with the scene from four horseman there are lots of other bits and pieces during the dance and you have managed to edit them well. I think the music goes particularly well to Rudy's Tango - I am addicted to the man too.

This video is not about the tango. Rudy also danced other dances which you see in the video. The title of the song i used is called Don't stop the dance which is for any dance that Rudy did. :)

Yes, in the last year of his life, he learned the Charleston, and incorporated it into his Tango-Fox Trot moves... Women said he was a great partner, - that he could lead...and you can see for yourself that this is true.

Good job! He was a great dancer. .. and why they edited his dancing scenes just proves they had no idea what women would pay to see -- glad you used the dance scenes from Cobra...they should have cut the scene prior and let him dance longer. Good work! Thanks for sharing!

You and me both!! Rudy is simply divine. His movements are graceful and fluid as he glides so effortlessly across the dance floor while embracing his partner--almost as if he's whisking her away to some place magical. All the while he holds her in his glance, never taking his eyes from her for a moment. And his posture is sheer perfection.

And yes he makes me want to do many things I won't go into detail about here (only for Rudy and me to know. ;)

This is a really nice video. While silent film tended to make everything move faster than normal, I find that this is not the case with Rudy. His grace and unbelievable ability to dance comes across beautifully here. What a talent, what a loss! This is a very nice video. Great job!

The song's name is Don't stop the dance too. :)Rudy is half Italian/half French.

He wasn't Sicilian, he was Apulian, this is the "heel" of the Italian "boot", his mother was French, his father Italian, he was born in Castellaneta, Apulia, his mother language was Italian, but he spoken French also (later too Spanish and English). He felt Italian. He was known as "The Great Lover", that's right, but personally he hated this attribute...I agree this is a great vid by Debbie, and she has always a very fine sense for the right music...
