  • Very nice you are well on your way, dont let the haters bring you down.

  • Here's an idea. Learn how to drum and tune that bass drum. Then maybe you can post a valid review.

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX Please. Look how old this video is, watch my new one I posted a few months back.

  • @gunglitcher You'll find out pretty quickly that I don't appreciate comments like that. If you don't like the video or the skills demonstrated in it, then remove it. I am criticizing based on what I see in this video; I don't have the time to search through your channel and verify that you are better now.

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX Daaaaayyymmmnn, such an angry person. Someone thinks they're Neil Peart eh?

  • @gunglitcher strong drums has a point lol

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX bit of an ego problem? hahaha your probably not that good

  • @WarLordsOfficial I'm not sure why I was so aggressive without provocation. I've grown since then. You shouldn't judge people's skills based on comments though.

  • Ayee! Fat Kid Can Drum!!

  • @SNEEDaGoon yup

  • @gunglitcher Hey dude, what pedals do you use?

  • @MegaDolphinDive I was using DW 7000's here. I upgraded to Axis A Longboards about a year ago

  • @gunglitcher oh, nice man. You're a great drummer.

  • @MegaDolphinDive Thanks a ton dude! Look at my new video its a helluva lot better than this one xD

  • Nice dude im gonna have to put the click pads on my list

  • i had a cb kit.. it was pretty good. lasted like 5+ years and is still up and standing. great begginner kit.

  • @haydenxx14 Yeah dude, for being a beginners sets they really aren't that bad

  • @haydenxx14 Same here, bought mine for £50 =D BARGAIN! still got it (as I'm a begginner) and its a great little kit!

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaahhaooooooooooooooooooooaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah i got my click pads yesterday THEY ARE PRETTY PIMPING

  • Hey does anyone know what the difference b/t a danmar click pad and ann evans bass patch is??? i guess danmar cuts through much more but i was wondering how much more.

  • @harvestofhope I just looked it up for yah, Evans Bass Patch is Hard Plastic, and Danmar Click Pads are Metal

  • u suck man.

  • @GenitalGrinder69 Keep in mind this was 2 years ago >_> and obviously triggers are better dude

  • @gunglitcher dude you suck so bad and your drums suck also.....wtf is CB drums?

  • @guitarockstar101 Come on bro, did you not notice that this video is over 2 years old? I've gotten extremely better since then. I don't have the CB set anymore, I got a 7 piece Pearl Export with a DR 80 rack, with nice Paiste cymbals, Axis Pedals, and a custom ddrum Snare.

  • ok dude wtf is up with the gay comment he doesnt suck hes actually pretty good and if u even really a drummer u would know that cb drums are drums so shut the fuck up i hate comments like this!!

  • ok dude wtf is up with the gay comment he doesnt suck hes actually pretty good and if u even really a drummer u would know that cb drums are drums so shut the fuck up i hate comments like this!!

  • @guitarockstar101 dude wtf!! is up with these gay comments hes not bad hes pretty good actually and if ur even a drummer ud know that cb is a drum company now shut the fuck up i hate these kinda comments

  • click pads are for fagz!!!! Triggers all te way!

  • i heard these pads give you no rebound at all?

  • @TheDeniedhopedrummer And you are correct! They really don't but they sound beastin, If you plan on getting click pads go with Danmar Metal Click Pads, it literally sounds like you have triggers, they are beast

  • hahahahaha hahahahahahahaha thats sum innovative blasts u got thier!! haha i can dig it nigga. practice the flying finger technique! it takes a bit of time but its to good for words! then get them flyswots goin and ur jon rice baby!!!!

  • @treeunit212 Hha yeah I need to get them down, I have been working on them. This is an old video though. As for Meinl cymbals, I had one and I loved the sound of it but it literally broke on my after a month so I got some Paistes and they are still with me.

  • nice drumming. click pads sound a little bit to clicky but it could just be the camera too

  • Thanks man! :D

  • You've been playing 8 years and still have a cb? man I feel bad I've been playing for a year and have a pro m not trying to brag Sometimes I wish others who have more experience coulld have whatthey diserve

  • I hear you, this set was my real first set. I was playing on my brothers left handed CB for a couple years, then I got my real first set which only cost me 50 dollars, then I borrowed the blue one from my sisters boyfriend, and then I got this.

My parents never by me absolutely nothing, I have to buy all my stuff by myself and I don't have a job :\

  • @gunglitcher i feel ya there dude, it's a ballache when you've gotta pay for everything yourself and haven't got much money, i've been playing 10 years and still only have a session pro that cost me £65(about $40-$50) and i still use it to this day, although the sound really comes from the heads, which has lead me to paying more for my heads than the kit ;)

i know how it is with the money, i could afford a new kit, but i have rent and bills to pay which takes up a huge chunk of my wages :(

  • @Scotty515 Yeah it does suck, I just got a new set a couple months ago though, I took out a Savings Bond to buy it because of course my parents weren't gunna help me out. And you bought a drumset for around 50 bucks =O it doesn't sound too bad from your videos. And yeah, it definitely sucks when you can't buy stuff because of bills and junk, Im starting to know how that is since I am growing up and junk, I don't really have alot to spend on my drums :(

  • ouch man, that sucks 7 different kinds of balls; one for each day of the week. my parents were just as bad if not worse, coz i couldn't even keep a kit at my house as there was no room, so i didn't even get my first set until i was 18(after 8 years of playing already) and it's just gotten even harder with moving into my own place now, hopefully i'll be getting a better paying job and i'll soon be able to afford a new kit :P

  • That sucks worse than mine xD, at least my parents would let us play (me and my brother play) up in our barn where this video was taken. Where did you play all that time? And yeah, when you upgrade to a new kit its like you get better along with it :P I also checked out your trigger video, those things sound sick!

  • lol, i was lucky to get 20 minutes once a week during my drum lesson in high school, and i'm still lucky to get 2-3 hours once a week now, even then that's with a band, not time to myself to work on technique so i've had to pick a lot of it up as i went along. haha those triggers were well worth the investment, brilliant for training your feet to play consistently :)

  • Damn, that sucks man :\ , thats pretty cool though your damn good for not really even playing that much over the years. Your metal playing is probably better than mine :P I have been playing for a while and while I can blasts and move my feet pretty fast now you still are better lolz. And yeah, triggers seem awesome! How much was it for the full setup?

  • thanks a lot man :) i really had to delve into reading up on my music theory to be able to translate ideas in my head to the kit, helped out a LOT and now i'm pretty much the core song writer in my band with being able to play guitar, bass and program synths as well. thankfully we already had a full PA when i bought the triggers so that wasn't an issue but i got the triggers second hand from a mate of mine for £150 for the full 5-piece trigger set AND the module :D

  • No problem, and thats awesome that you actually understand Music Theory :P I am taking it right now in school and I don't understand a thing xD I just can't get it lol. Thats awesome that you can write everything, thats what I was hoping to do but I can't do shit lolz. And damn, I didn't know it took that much to use triggers, I thought that you just needed to hook it up to an amp or something and your good to go xD

  • lol, i didn't pay attention when doing my music qualification either, still managed to come out with a B xD but you'll learn it in your own time like i did probably. Yeah it does take some time to set them up but they're a god send once you've got them going, the only real pain in the arse is calibrating the trigger sensitivity so playing your snare doesn't set off the kick trigger :P i still need to get round to sorting that out properly

  • Haha lucky, I have a C in that class I'm pretty sure lol yeah I'm pretty sure I will get it down sometime :P and yeah I'm sure Triggers are a godsend, I've always loved the sound of them, thats pretty funny too that the sensitivity fucks with the kick trigger xD you could make the double bass sound crazy if you get the snare hit in with the bass hits at the same time lolz

  • yeah they cut through any mix brilliantly :D haha you're damn right about the sensitivity, all too often i've had my snare or rack tom set of my kick trigger, makes whatever i'm playing even crazier :P

  • Hahah, thats awesome then, you should leave it that way then. Unless your recording of course xD I also checked out your band, you guys are sick dude! I'll add you guys with my band myspace. We are Cap Gun Roulette, we are in the middle of a name change right now because the name is pretty terrible, the stuff on our MySpace is old too. We are recording new stuff in the spring, I'm alot better at drumming now and my singer is better at singing and screaming too.

  • Ohh, I guess we are already friend on MySpace. Weird lolz

  • haha, that'll be thanks to danny(vocals) and sam(bass) those lads add everything and everyone on myspace, hence us having 20,000+ friends :P we're going back into the studio ourselves in may/june to do our next EP and it's gonna be a LOT more brutal than what's on our myspace ;)

  • Awesome, I can't wait to hear. You guys sound badass now. My bands going into the studio in a month or 2 probably and hopefully gunna record some progressive technical metal :P

  • cheers man :) hehe good old prog/tech death metal is right up our alley, the stuff on our myspace does us no justice coz it's old-ish material, the new stuff is about 200bpm at standard with everything ranging from odd times, polyrythms, blast beats, LOADS of double bass and some good solid grooves, i can't wait :D

  • Damn, that sounds intense. You gotta let me know when there is new stuff up on your Myspace because I will definitely check it out =D

  • you should work on your timing man. and mixing things up a bit i've seen 3 videos and they all sound pretty much the same

  • A little too much click for me. But, not bad playing. Your timing was a little off at times, but not bad man keep it up.

  • Thanks :) Check out my other videos

  • I am right now. How long have you been playing?

  • I have been playing for 8 years or so.

  • you use the danmar click pads?

  • Nahh, I use Gibraltar Click Pads mostly because they were cheaper at the time. When I need new clickpads (which I am due for a new pair, mine are only on by duct tape right now) I will probably pick up some danmars.

  • No, but you are pretty good

  • Lol, thanks.

Check out my other videos :)

  • pretty good for a fattie

  • Honestly, was that even remotely called for.

  • Yes... Watching this video i can see it was called for.

  • I don't recall asking the peanut gallery to come in...

  • pretty good for a fattie

  • what kind of pedal do you have?

  • DW 7000's

  • Lmao is that Belephgor? rightious!

  • Lol nah, but if it sounds like them. Sweet! My other video the "Death and Black Metal Drumming" or something like that. I did a Belphegor beat, I could probably do it alot better now. That was like 2 years ago.

  • Dude, you're way too good to be playing on a beginner's level kit. I'd be doing whatever is needed to get ahold of a nicer kit. Pacific X7 is probably the best bang for the buck on the market right now.

That series bass drum has a nice tight sound, perfect for click pads.

  • Thanks man! Yeah, I know its a beginner kit but I have bought all my stuff with my own money, my parents don't help me out much with my drum stuff. I couldn't even get my dad to buy me used hi hats lol. I am trying to get a job so I can get a good kit, I will look into the Pacific X7.

    Thanks again!

PS: If you were wondering I have been playing for 8 years. All on shitty sets =P .

  • I remember how that is. My first kit was also a CB and I was stuck with them from 12 till I was around 17.

  • Yeah, they are pretty nice budget kits. I bought mine from a friend for $350. Its definately worth it, all it needed was some TLC. My brother had a CB set too, he had that for a real long time, he has a Pearl Export now. That thing is sick lol.

  • is there another name for these or wat?

    cos there hard to find

  • Sometimes they call them Impact Pads. Look up Gibraltar Impact Pads in google.

  • How much where they? I'm going tomorrow to get some.

  • They were like $12 altogether. I still have them too, and they still are working great and sound great!

  • Alright thanks man, by the way you sound good.

  • Your welcome and thanks!

  • i got a doublebass click pad today it kicks ass i think it was like 9 bucks at guitar center

  • Hehe... dude you just rock :)

  • Thanks! And I love your cover of Bed of Razors. Good shit.

  • nice drummin man i like yeah im about to order a gibralter click pad (my off brand one came off) and some wooden beaters you any other brands of click pads that are worth tryin????????? check out my drumin
