Was a (German) postgrad student at TCU Ft. Worth back in the fall of 1972 when I heard Vince playing in the coffeehouse there. At the time I was impressed by his skillful guitar playing. Great to see him again after 37 years - made possible thanks to Youtube.
Whne we were in High School my friends, Johnny Laxton (rip) JIm Cunningham and John Kuntz, and I would go see Vince at Sand Mountain an old Coffee House in the Westhiemer district of Houstn. Johnny L thought VInce was the Shit. He was right.
I used to go listen to Vince Bell in Houston in the '70s. I've got the album. He was unique, and great. Thanks for posting the video. He looks a lot different now.
Mr Bell's Love Theme to Airport (1970) is the most beautiful song of all time. You are are an immense talent. Thankyou!
