im sorry to say this but, i hate fedora, i've been into linux for about 3 years and fedora has never been kind to me. : (
i started with ubuntu and went all the way to less user friendly distros like slackware, gentoo. arch, etc. and then i decided to chill out and go back to basics and tried to install fedora...and it all went to shit, my graphics card drivers could not be installed, i got a frozen GUI most of the time, so its sad but true.
I'd be using fedora on a brand new computer with nothing on the hard drive, but might later install windows and dual boot. What hard drive option should I use? I was thinking that I should click use free
So In the partitions process of installation, I chose to "replace existing linux operating system" to replace ubuntu, so I did not erase Vista. but either way I can't boot back into it now. The option is missing. Help would be suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper appreciated.
hey man great tut, im downloading fedora right not just to see if i like it better than windows lol
just something that i've noticed in this video different from the first time i saw you was that you've edited it to where its you talking non stop about your tut, which is good but i mean its all business even if it stays all business but you have pauses where normal people would get a drink or take a small breathes than it at least shows that your human lol you know what i mean? idk just a thoug
I try not to cut out my small breaths and stuff normally but I also try to do keep the tutorials as short as I can and in this tutorial after I was done recording it was 20 minutes long and I wanted to keep it in one tutorial so I had to shave off a whole 10 minutes. Thats why in this one I'm talking constantly. Thanks for the feedback man, I'm glad to have you as a subscriber :)
I have a problem, when burned fedora into a DVD disc, I ejected it, and then put it back in, and it just opened it and showed folders.. Help?

@MathKuaNz you either configure the BIOS or multi boot into the CD, the computer boots to the HDD by default

hey how do I boot fedora? I downloaded the iso, burnt it into a disc and then I restarted and the loading didn't appear?

@martmelee Well that might only be for you, I use Ubuntu primarily now but Fedora remains my second favorite. It just depends on the user.

@martmelee ill add more, sometimes on the users choice of a hardware to :)

Ouch! You shot yourself in the foot lol!
Put in your windows CD in the drive and try to repair it or else you'll have to reformat and re-install the Windows OS ;P
