Thank You for this wonderful Tribute. Yolanda spent a time In Ithaca Ny and was honored to meet her on a few occations. All I can say what a wonderful lady with a heart of so big she could hold the whole world in it. God Bless you Yolanda Till we meet again.
What a positive spirit. She came from a family of bravehearts. She is up beyond the clouds with her mother and father looking down on us in awe of what we have accomplished due to the courage of her family.
I stumbled across this today and it touched me so. It wonderful to hear This song in tribute to such a wonderful spirit. This is truly a gift. For an onlooker like me.
I'm sorry, I do not know who Hank Stewart is, but I would love to have him speak at my funeral. I loved that. We are our people's History. And HOLIDAY!!! who could do better? Total Perfection. a gift from God.....
What can you say about a woman who touched so many lives...I meet her at the National Black Theater Feastival in Winston-Salem,NC. She was extremly graceful and willing to talk to an unknown playwrite about their work and about her oun...I will never forget her. Cheyenne Covington
its funny how people on youtube indulge in so much hatred and negativity but you have a video of the funeral of a very positive woman and no one has anything to say?I bet if it had to do with persecuting someone this video would have hundreds of comments just an observation.
I agree. The pain of loss and sympathy is so deeply heartfelt however, I am thankful for the gifted ones like Hank Stewart and Jennifer Holiday, who can express what I cannot, being limited to a human vocabulary.
Jennifer sang her heart out on this. I always loved her arrangement and delivery of this song. The studio version is impeccable!
