they did in their movie "At War with the Army" I had to buy it after seeing some of their clips! Even though they were before my time, they are truly CLASSIC COMEDIANS
@markjroberts43 NO.... Dean and Jerry got together in 1946 and split in 1956. They were together for 10yrs. They met earlier then that but were not a team until1946. Look it up to confirm.
you just the clips out and dont complete episodes like when they introduce a song and then you cut to a skit im confused i think jerry is giving me truboule... i can spell correctly (T-T) damn school gives me nothing
They're just random clips from Colgate episodes. I love Dean and his songs, but these were mainly uploaded for the COMEDY parts. If you want to see the full episodes and sketches...I suggest purchasing the Colgate Comedy Hour dvds sets.
Was the ending a bit "odd" to anyone else? Dean's comment seemed "off". Maybe I'm reading too much into the slow broil of their friendship's impending doom...
The conductor dude is Richard "Dick" Stabile. I've always wondered what Dean said after Dick said that about his Italian friend too. I love this. If you want to see him do some really neat footwork watch the clip of "Ev'ry Streets a Boulevard" I love it!
LOL, I don't know! I've always wondered myself. "That's my good...--" something. I can't tell. "That's my good buddy!" ????? But it doesn't sound like buddy. I don't know. :(
LOVE THEM!!! they are phenomenal!!

How does Dino always look so effortlessly cool?! It can't just be the undone bow tie, surely, though that's obviously a part of it here.
Actually he's dripping with sweat in this clip, but you know what I mean. ;)

which comment are you referring to?
igvmyslf1000pts 5 years ago
This clip was from a show pretty early in their career so I don't think there would be any hints like that in this one.

@blackwood9 no, they used this routine in "At War with the Army" it was one of their many movies.

I think maybe he said, "That's my compare." I don't know much about Italian, but in some dialects I believe "compare" means "buddy".
