i got a challenge for you, if you have sonic cd, Clear Metallic Madness Zone 2 with a Ring Limit of 50, and a Time Limit of 5:00 Sonic Can take as Much Damage as he wants. Debug Mode OR Time Attack Not Allowed but Level Select is.

I know this sounds like a lie, but I managed to get 999 rings off the slot machine in the DS version. I got around 98,000 for a ring bonus. I was Super Sonic and that would explain the 1,900 drop, and who would want to lose that much because of a few spikes?

that would suck cause at the very end you almost got 3 robotniks, that would be sad, since you had 298 rings.
