She was a class act and could only be matched by Asha occassionally.

Her withering away is really one of the greatest tragedies in HFM. It would have been so lovely to have her singing to this day. Her age was not of dying when she did.

Remarkable song that shows Geetaji's voice had not lost its aura even when she was, supposedly, having a lot problems at that time. The video also had very rare pictures. BRAVO!!!

Agree with you on that and glad you liked the pictures too.

She definitely had a good voice even then (contrary to rumours) as seen in many songs.
