  • you konw that is fake

  • you guy's know that this is fake right

  • wow. just think if you had like 100 of them you could drive a car forever without $4 gas.

  • So the battery is toxic?

  • just wondering correct me if i am wrong but why the hell would u use those metal thingys...doesnt the electricity go through metal...

  • why go to the trouble to convert dc to ac then back to dc THE TRANSFORMER OUTPUT IS 6V just run a 9v BATTERY would work ...stupid

  • When you opened the box, the Uranium looked like some cool type of candy.

  • Be CAREFUL!

You do not have proper grounding. You have been warned.....

  • FAIL!!

  • lol NUKE BATTERY!!!

  • where is your conveter box for your tv or do you have cable?

  • lol, nice paper wrap arount the standard 1,5 volt battery

  • dude i hope you know you can touch the stuff and not get cancer or any other thing from it

  • suck my lead lined u-238 dick.

  • Nice video !

Have a look at my recent videos at my Youtube Account overunityDOTcom , I am using cheap ALUFOIL !

Just click on my username here.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • wow someone fears the radioactivity LOL id lick that and id be ok LOL

  • I'd reccomend you line that box with lead not aluminum. :-)

  • Ur bed is contaminated.

  • Wikipedia "radioisotope thermoelectric generator".

Nuclear batteries do exist. They power satellites, remote lighthouses, etc and last for several decades. It's basically a slug of perpetually red-hot plutonium oxide, surrounded by equipment to turn the heat into electricity.

None of them use uranium. It would be useless for a battery.

Plus, the Geiger detector bit was pure theater, the sensitivity was set to the lowest level so the dial would flip but the scintillometer barely clicked.

  • I wounder if it really is a radioactive battery as some consumer products are!!!

eg: smoke detectors and those propane lantern filiment things (that I cant remember the name of)

  • @madbackyardscientist

For a "backyard scientist", you should learn how things operate better. Neither smoke detectors nor lantern mantles use "radioactive batteries".

Smoke detectors use a tiny bit of alpha-emitting americium-24; when smoke enters the detector, the alpha particles get blocked and the alarm triggers. The actual horn is what the battery powers.

Gas lantern mantles use thorium dioxide-impregnated nylon which glows brightly when heated. But the radioactivity has no effect.

  • no s**t! that's why I said it!!! notice how i said propane powered lantern not battery!!! I'm smart enough to understand quantum mechanics give me some credit!!! I don't have a giger counter anymore to test some batteries to see if any contain a radio isotope! my dad sold all my science equipment to the school when we moved years ago, snif snif.

  • Good imagination...I think you can bypass the inverter when using an atomic "anything". Special battery holder!...atomic pressure treated!?!?.

Women would definitely have no use for men if these were real, image a nuke powered vibrator!!!

  • so just any one can go out and buy atom bomb batteries??

also were did you get the tv it would be nice to have one like that when im camping and stuff

  • it wouldnt help you any all tv signals are now digital not analog

  • NUUUUU :'[ hhh should have a how to on hacking that tv to make it digital :D

  • Wait there are batteries with radioactive isotopes now?

  • *Ehemn!*Well if it's actually atomic......it might blow up on your face.....it can be a Nuclear Mini Bomb....So be careful....>XD

  • how much is a battery like that?

  • I want the stickers

  • wow poor tv

  • i like the way he uses metalic tongs :P

    good job!!!

  • lol u guys know this is a joke right??? that battire is fake the necular detector is too lol i saw thsoe tricks at a joke store lol

  • LOL! NUKES 4 this is crazy! i hope youtube does blow up!

  • so you put it on your bed?

  • lol hehe lol hehe lol hehe lol hehe lol

  • A small mistake: Uranium-238 is not used for batteries; Plutonium-238 is. It's also not 1.5v, but rather around 3v. It is used in places where a very-long-lasting battery is needed (e.g. pacemakers), though it is uncommon today, as lithium batteries are cheaper to produce, and can be made as reliable as a Pu-238 battery, not to mention that it needs no radiation shielding (there is only chemical danger).

  • BE A MAN USE YOUR HAND!!!! unless your anikin skywalker. that would explain the prong for hands

  • the battery is a joke you dumb fucks!

  • Uh dumb American swine.....where can i get those?

  • Are you doing that on your bead ?!

  • Only thing he has to worry about not to touch that or breath in any dust which was near that small crate.

    Otherwise:

    radiation poisoning.

  • wow real uranium battery

  • where can i get that battery? they don't sell it in walmart

  • i asked the walmart saleslady and they don't know that battery. lol

  • lol

  • haha i love people so commited to sarcasm as u are

  • Ma che cazzata le batterie!!

  • bloddy hell!

when I first saw the little crate, I didn't believe this is a uranium battery!

when I heard the Geiger counter, no more suspicions!

  • LMAO this was fantastic! That's true commitment to sarcasm. :P Well done.

Though I o fear that there are some people who are actually stupid enough to take this seriously.

  • ahhhhhhhhh fells better lolz PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

  • stop tanting a good thing such as utube.. this is lame, and a total waist of time..

    top being a jack***

  • XD.

  • You took the joke to a whole new level dude, good job. I was rollin when you had the tongs to open the box.

  • Well, i'm sure in 1985 you could buy those radioactive batteries at any corner store, but now they're hard to come by.

  • 230 volt night light HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

a 6 volt bicicle lamp ROFL

  • 120 not 230

  • Those batteries are'nt really radioactive, electroman just put ordinary batteries with that label as a joke to demonstrate the impossibility of powering a large tv with a AA battery.

  • thank you for stating the blatently obvious

  • lol its funny how he opens the box with a stick. is the battery made out of lead too?

  • Fail...

  • lol its just a AA battery not some kind of radioactive powercell lol, i like it tho

  • you are stupid men stay warned whit radioactive objects

  • To get the most out of this you need a flux capacitor.

  • Ive been trying to find plutonium for ages. The delorean just wont hit 88 without it.

  • lolz

  • "... of course I'm sure not everyone has U-238 AA power cells lying around the house..." doh!

  • LOL... I love how he uses BBQ tongs to move his "Uranium" around from the jewelery box... People have way too much time on their hands.

  • its fake

  • Comment removed

  • its an experiment you noob. Its trying something different for fun, not practicality.

  • everybody duck the battery is going to explode!!!!!

  • ROFLMAO Thats awesome.

  • well then i dont think thy would sell those batteries to u even if thy were real lol

  • Why use those pisnets? USE YOUR HAND!

First he take pinsets and then put uranium on his bed, where he or his kids would sleep :D Very genious!

  • If you look really closely you can see the real power leads under his mount for the "Uranium- 238" Power cell. This is also a reply to some idiots "How to run a TV on a AAA battery." This is a hilarious spoof though. Great Job

  • u were just making fart noises with ur mouth lol

  • Fart noise whit his mouth? That something new.

  • Just don't drop the power cell.

  • so bad so rediculusly FAKE!!

  • noob dont respond

  • Why don't you shut the hell up?

  • This is so false, HEU (Highly Enriched Uranium) 238 cannot be obtained by any normal person, and it is illegal and very dangerous to do so.

  • as u can see he aint normal who has raioactinity raeder

  • wow.... dude seriously. its a generic AA battery with a fake label. fake meter. and more than likely some kind of fake sound effect and brass bar. ITS NOT REAL!!! if you think he was being serious about the u-238 stuff then how do you even know how to spell uranium. geez.

  • I find it funny how some people can take these kind of jokes so seriously.

    For example - "FAKE!"

Wow, as if anyone over 6 years old didn't notice...

    *rolls eyes*

  • Normal person? What is norman person?

Why he cant get it? This days you can get ANYTHING if you got enought money! :D Even tank.

  • i bet in the battery holder is a lead battery

btw get a larger tv! as we all could see this tv can be run with normal batteries

  • thats y he used that tv cause he knew it would work

  • dont be so careful the radiation is very low

next time I will have a vid in YT where I show my pichblende stones. in 30 secs they give off 1200 radioactive particles and it´s safe to hold it with bare hands so this is nothing xD

  • haha if you think this guy can get his hands on anything but his tv remote you are retarded. It's not plutonium, it doesnt look like a AA battery, and this guy is a retard.

  • where the shit do you get a radioactive battery?!

  • he made it out of plutonium.

  • Ok...where the shit do u get plutonium?!

  • from any hardware store.

  • rofl i knew household hacker used radioactive batteries cuz i tried regular batties and they didn't work!

P.S. At 3:58 you started to put your hands too close near the radioactive battery why :\

  • This video is obviously a fake however real atomic batteries do exist too and they do not utilize conventional heat engines but use techniques like betavoltaics and thermopiles. They are quite safe to handle.

Typically the emissions would not cause the bed to become radioactive even if the emitter wasn't safe to hold due to direct alpha or beta radiation although this is unrealistic battery design since alpha and beta radiation are easily blocked.

  • i know. i made em from.. well i cant really say. i use the batterys to power my plane cuz of the fuel prices.

  • so u wont pick up the radioactive battery with ur hands, but you'll just put it on ur bed?

  • your gonna get nut cancer

if you start to feel a third nut on your balls I'd recommand you go to the doctor

  • RETARD!!

  • 125 watt night light XD

  • boooooom

  • is there wires running under the battery holder to a car battery?

  • ROFL this is brilliant!

  • What kind of popcorn were you popping?

  • lol this is the funniest shit i have ever seen and like a person before said put a man on the moon yer im pretty sure that it was faked the landing on the moon and radioactive material doesnt create electricity it creates heat which heats water extremely fast to make lots of steam to turn turbines

  • Obviously it has all of that, but it uses nano-turbines and a micro-dyno on the inside ;P

  • I tried this one. (Don't ask where I got a U-238, it's classified.) Unfortunately, the waldo had a malfunction in the main actuator, and had a structural failure on the atomic level. After which it nearly took my head off. This is a warning: DO NOT CONDUCT THIS EXPERIMENT WITHOUT PROPER FACE PROTECTION! I'm serious... Mostly.

  • um...nice...gloves?

  • me want radioactive sticker

  • LOL I love this video!!! However, The folks that actually believe the "Power Your 24" TV With 1 AAA Battery" video, are the folks that wont see any comedy in this video. Instead they will be amazed at your high tech cell extraction method from the lead box and the "alien inverter technology" you show!! LOL!!

  • Funny shit. You should talk to NASA--I bet you could help them put a man on the moon....but you might need one more waldo for a job like that. Watch out for that U-238, I like to use U-239 cuz it's more stable at high temps.

  • dumbass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lmfao! A radio active batterey! hahahahahhaha!

  • XD thats so dumb. The minerals cannot generate electricity, they generate heat, which such and so forth turns a turbine generating electricity. not Directly creating electricity.

  • LOL everyone thinks it is real, it is just a normal battery

  • Oh my god you here to tell me that some random idiot has Uranuim 238 the shit they use in a reactor core!!!! fuck ill calling the cops on you!

  • will it still work, with regular AAs???

  • well cool when i saw inside that wooden case!!!

  • woow cool

  • hoy amaw 6v rman ghapon nga dc mau8 ra ghpon..abi nako dako nga tv..gamay diay kaau..hehehe

  • omg u didnt use gloves at 3:34 omg raidioactivity!!!!

  • that wasnt radiactive but this is still cool :)

  • Lmao dude another quality video, I had a few laughs on this... You and those tongs!! lol

  • cool

  • interesting. and a quick fact im bringin up for no apparent reason, more radiation comes from a coal power plant than a nuclear power plant due to traces of radioactive substances mixed within the coal.

  • that cant really be radioactive. can it?

  • Yes, it is, I used to collect radioactive substances, and to be really truthful, the geiger counter is reading Radium not Uranium!
