  • Annoying chirping out of the left channel. Videos have improved over time. Generally a good unboxing.

  • I plan on getting me a backup hard drive. I found out that the bigger hard drive you have, the higher the power supply. My PC has an ATA cable connector.

  • LOL poonie

  • my western 500 gig is super quiet as well..

  • I just bought the 500 gig today. Its totally amazing!!!

  • Haha...I remember when these were expensive, now 1 TB's are around this much.

  • My parents give me nothing for good grades. So unfair :(

  • ur parents should buy u theas things regardles of grades because when parents get their kids technology its good for them because its the future and we all will be using it. when i told my dad the first time i wanted a harddrive he was happy that i asked and he got me one because technology is the future

  • HAhahaaha! LAME!

  • lol dont worry itll pay off in the future :)

  • cool i have the same one but mines 640 gb

  • best buy has the 640GB HB on sale for 99 US dollars now. Pre-formatted with FAT32.

  • Walmart has the 1TB version for like 110 bucks. I bought mine 2 weeks ago.

  • lol i just got a 1tb

  • Yup me too but I'm thinking of getting an external HD cause mine is almost full.

  • My brother has one of these, a 500gb about 150 dollars (not sure).. but personally i recommend the smaller versions, it's easier to travel with it. I haven't bought one yet, but planning on getting either 120gb or 320 gb.

  • oh and the smaller ones do not need a power cord.

  • i bought a 750 gb for 109 bucks

  • Thanks Candice! Do some more...

  • wut does this do

  • it stores media that you don't want saved on your laptop's harddrive.

  • Cool! I"m planning to get one of these. :D

    Except 500GB

  • great unboxing!!!!!

  • :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • i got a 500GB buffalo external drive for around 90 bucks

    worth the extra money

  • I wished I found that deal. I wouldn't mind paying 3 extra dollars for some more space =)

  • Wait until it stops working... like it has for me, and about a bajillion other people. Don't rely on it to keep anything valuable safe.

  • Candice totally rules!

  • I got the 320 GB 2.5" version powered by USB2 so no external power supply unit is needed :) much neater and tidy ;)

  • Hey Candice,

Good Choice for your Ext. HD. I bought a Western Digital My Book 500 HD. I use it as my Capture disk for Final Cut Pro. Mine works great. I like how it was formatted for Mac right out of the box. I also like the fact that it had firewire 800 capabilities for fast video transfer to and from the iMac. Keep up those vids.

    Cheers, Steve

  • Thanks Steve!

    I love the harddrive.

  • hi candice
