I plan on getting me a backup hard drive. I found out that the bigger hard drive you have, the higher the power supply. My PC has an ATA cable connector.
can someone tell which one should i get a 500 gb western digital passport hardrive or a western digital 1T My book hardrive. like which one is better. im only worried that the my book is very dodgy or not as gud or it could be great and im not sure about the passport will it heat alot or not at all is it worth it please reply someone just want your opinion on which one to get and note: they are both the same price. so which one???? thanx ohh yeh and by the way nice video
ur parents should buy u theas things regardles of grades because when parents get their kids technology its good for them because its the future and we all will be using it. when i told my dad the first time i wanted a harddrive he was happy that i asked and he got me one because technology is the future
My brother has one of these, a 500gb about 150 dollars (not sure).. but personally i recommend the smaller versions, it's easier to travel with it. I haven't bought one yet, but planning on getting either 120gb or 320 gb.
Good Choice for your Ext. HD. I bought a Western Digital My Book 500 HD. I use it as my Capture disk for Final Cut Pro. Mine works great. I like how it was formatted for Mac right out of the box. I also like the fact that it had firewire 800 capabilities for fast video transfer to and from the iMac. Keep up those vids.

Annoying chirping out of the left channel. Videos have improved over time. Generally a good unboxing.

worth the extra money
macintoshaddict1 3 years ago
I wished I found that deal. I wouldn't mind paying 3 extra dollars for some more space =)

Wait until it stops working... like it has for me, and about a bajillion other people. Don't rely on it to keep anything valuable safe.
