Agreed - I have a Min II and a Wenonah Voyageur. Love the Min 2. You're right about the South Lady Evelyn - challenging with the Min 2. Just returned 3 days ago. Similar trip to yours: Montreal - SmoothWater - Regan - Einer - Solace - Bluesucker - Florence - out at Chance/Gamble.
We used SealLine inflatable kayak cushions, which were surprisingly comfortable. They're made by the same company as Thermarest mattresses. Ottertooth's website and Hap Wilson's Temagami guide were helpful. Hope to see a trip report from you. Enjoy!
Thanks Paul. Yes, it's a Minnesota II. Tracking, glide, efficiency, and stability were superior for lake travel. The South Lady Evelyn River was somewhat challenging due to the canoe's 18.5' length and the very twisty nature of the river itself.

Nice slideshow. I'm doing a similar route this year. Btw, which Wenonah canoe are you using? The MIN 2?
