  • Mick: I can't tell you that.

AHHHHH WHEN HE SAYS THAT, HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!

  • Hey! Anybody notice they got it half right in the movie with Freedom Tower in downtown Manhattan.. altho in the movie the Twin Towers were still there in 2009. Awesome movie!

  • do u know any films that about mind control, that cia or any secret organizations service wants to a one man to be adhere with them..and i think i memorize anthıny hopkins in that movie but i forgot the name of the movie..or i dont know maybe anthony doest play such a movie..JUST HELP ME ! IM GOING TO CRAZY ABOUT THAT FILM ! I MEMORIZE IT ! I WATCHED IT AS A LITTLE KID ! I FORGOT THE NAME OF THE FILM !!!!!

  • I love this movie,i watched when i was kid xD

  • LOOKS AWESOME I WANNA WATCH NOW

  • I love this movie!! The 90's got a great start with Total Recall, Terminator 2 and Freejack! I love those movies as well as others like Blade Runner too. There are not many great movies these days ....

  • I remember seeing this as a kid, but then I saw it about 2 years ago on tv and the totalitarian dystopia makes so much more sense. At one point in the film as they're going through the city streets you see a billboard that encourages people to commit suicide, crazy shit.

  • Damn, Anthony Hopkins was even old in 1992?

  • A true marvel of modern technology would be the revival of Emilio Estevez's career.

  • mindblowing blast into sports. target tone abs and back healthy muscles shrink fat

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE MICK ROCKS

  • As Tom Servo would say, "Ah, our OLD future."

  • Hit pause.

    Press 8.

    Mute.

    Play.

    Then keep pressing 8.

  • An okay movie, but Mick Jagger was truly awful in it, imo. I saw this in theaters as a kid.

  • @TheAltair4

Me too it was ok but Mick Jagger's acting was terrible much like Sting or Madonna. Now David Bowie is a musician who knows how to act unlike Jagger.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Bowie and most rap singers!

  • mick jagger in this movie is the best!!! very good movie, music and two long run by motocycle and car!!

  • This accident happened in real life just 5 years later

  • @PRIMALRAGE11

    the crash at Fuji?

  • @damonemx Yeah, poor boy

  • @PRIMALRAGE11 Where's the video for it? Post it on here.

  • I haven't seen this for years - but the trailer is soooo dated. The font used at the end looks like something from the 80's and not the 90's.

Anyway - pretty fun movie that could have been awesome

  • @DingKong that may be because its from the early 90s thats very close to the 80s

  • the cyberpunk plot bears little resemblance in tone or content to Sheckley's story, which depicts a world of zombies.

  • I love Mick Jagger!!!

  • my dad robert sheckley wrote this ..its based on one of his books ..immortality inc.

  • Cool the background music is from Ministry!!!!

  • @bobsagetPower2 what's the name of the song?

  • @theuncannyxfan Golden Dawn

  • @bobsagetPower2 Thanks

  • It's like stepping through a twisted window of the future, but without friggin 3-D :)

  • he wake up in 2009 ... but in irak!

  • A remake of this movie would b awesome

  • it's 2010 and we don't have tank-cars yet u_u

  • @5MET5 2011 and still no luck!

  • @hotlatinmonkey ZOMG!! i need a tank-car... i need to suvive 2012 x___x =P

  • Keef must have ripped the piss about this

  • Sir Mick at his bestest worst

  • this movie is not compatible with 2010 hahahaha

  • It's 2009 BITCH

  • funny

  • it should of been 2109... but what about blade runner? they thought in 2019 we would all have flying cars and ther would be androids walking around....

  • @hellspit2003 check urban aeronautics.

  • is this film any good

  • Emilio is cool

  • Damn it! 2009 would have been just like this if not for the economic recession!

  • @p0rkch0ps Well we are 2012 and we dont breath benzin

  • it was pretty ruff last year lol

  • this film was the checkmate that destroyed emilio's career in one fell swoop.

infact they were better off calling it 'checkmate' - with anthony hopkins sitting oposite emilio, laffing away as he deliver's the final blow

mick jaggers career if anything just got stronger after this - talk about adding insult 2 injury - poor emeel

  • its getting like this film more and more each day !

  • WOW!!!! In that alternate future emilio estevez still has a career!

  • i just rewatched this film and ohhh man is it BAD!!

terrible dialogue, plot holes for days, action sequences to fall asleep to, and one of the most predictable scenarios ever.

despite that, Mick Jagger and Anthony Hopkins do the best job in a movie that had a great idea, but was executed so amateur.

for some reason though i still like this movie! hahaha!

  • Last year looks totally futuristic, man.

  • @argenteum haahhahaaha

  • I just love this movie, Jagger is so hilarious in some scenes xD

  • im watching this right now!... lol

  • Huh... is that Ministry's "Golden Dawn" playing on the background?

  • I never thought that Emilio Estevez and Mick Jagger would be in a movie together!

  • Nice trailer!

  • this movie reeks of the 90s

  • 2009 looks horrible....

  • nibble my ear for good luck...

  • it's 2010 and Mick Jagger looks just as ugly

  • he died...was jumped to the future...everyone he knows is still alive and hasn't aged much at all...

still, not far off the real 2009...

  • Its funny how they pictured the year 2009 to be. Everyone assumed we'd be living in a polluted hell hole by now.

  • um, look around....we are

  • Umm... I looked around, and we aren't.

  • wow, where do you live? coz i can see planet earth...

  • I live in Washington state at the moment. However, I've been all around the world, I've seen the very best and the very worst of this planet. And its not a polluted hellhole like the movie claims. Yes there's pollution, but its not as bad as the movie makes it out to be.

The movie projected the future that between 1991 and 2009 that the environment would get drastically worse. Truth is that the environment hasn't changed much between that time. Its the same that it was in the early 90's.

  • seriously? well done you that can afford to travel "all around the world". must be a tough life...

i didn't say it was exactly like the film, but the people in it make it a hell hole for others. you know, like morons taking fims too seriously and getting offended by things that really don't matter. oh and the genius' running the countries...

  • Well I could because it was part of my job.

I'm glad you are no longer taking this film too seriously. lol

And that you know that 2009 was not nearly as bad as it was in the movie.

And by the way, you're hot just so you know.

  • so your job takes you to EVERY part of the world? don't think so!

never took the film seriously mate :P

i never take any film, or man, seriously..

and i'm not and i know it so don't try and patronise me thanks..

  • Yeah its called the army sweetie.

And no I'm not patronizing you. You're hot. Just so you know.

  • oh so you've been to ireland...oh no wait...um where exactly do the army go?

i'll accept you've been to a few countries but not ALL of them, and you certainly haven't seen the worst

  • Let me clerify, I've never said I've been to every country. I've said I've been all around the world. I've been to almost every continent. And yes I have been to Dublin, Ireland. I lived in Germany for about 5 years, which gave me the opportunity to travel.

And as far as some of the worst I've been to: Iraq (including on the boarder of Iran), Macedonia, Kuwait, Bulgaria, serbia, Egypt, Mexico, and Cuba.

And yes things are bad. But to say we live in a hell hole is a huge exaggeration.

  • oooooook calm down there soldier, everybody has a different perspective, depending on how good a start in life they got. what they do with it is their own decision.

my cousin is in the army, has been to iraq etc...

i've had the same conversation with him...

  • lol. Ok I'll calm down if you stop taking this movie seriously ;).

Thats cool. So where in Iraq was your cousin?

  • First you guys you must know that freejack is an adaptation of 1958 Robert Sheckleys novel Immortality inc. So when the story was created 2009 was a very far future from 1958. So dont shit to me whit your bullshit comments. Second thing maybee the film had some minor disapointments but the story is masterpiece. One of the best sci-fi stories of all time. First actualy inform yourselves then post some shit. Robert Sheckley was a sci-fi god until he died.

  • @FicoSv i agree. good comment.

  • they got 2009 spot on

  • weird that david jo is in a movie with mick jagger, seeing as he was an imitator, i bet johnny thunders was still alive when they were shooting this movie.

  • yes... this is like it now XD

  • wow the future 2009

  • Good to see Mick Jagger is still alive.

  • Wesley Snipes Totally put on weight though. (:56)

  • I can't belive we are still alive with out the ozone!!

  • they got 2009 so wrong lol

  • man this movie was the freakin greatest/

  • You have a problem when Mick Jagger makes second billing in a movie. I remember watching this back in '92 and it was pretty ridiculous even then.

  • Although, Jagger made an interesting villian.

  • MCCANDLESSSSSS!!!!

  • Needed another re-write...new cast....and it would have been a classic.

  • Of all the sci-fi movies, this one doesn't seem so far fetched, apart from the time transport at the start.

If the prices of everything keeping rampantly jumping, this will be the future.

  • ted williams should have been in this movie. haa, ha!

  • OMg, can you believe I was born in 1992, and they thought this is how we'd be living by now? Holy shite that's hilarious! Really not much has changed since the early 90s.

  • The world has changed drastically since 1992 of course not to this extreme effect though as it's a sci-fi movie and no one back then thought the future would be that crazy. This highly dramatizes some of the problems they thought we'd have in the new century with technology and just makes other things up. You were born that year so you can't relate but to someone who can remember the early 90s the world was a lot different back then compared to now.

  • @downwiththeCLOWN1987 it would be nice to go back to the 80s or the 90s... the 2000s suck.

  • @Archmetal06 ru kiddin, i would go back to the 90's only if u can be as young as i was then, but not because the times were so much better.

  • @Archmetal06 That is kinda of the point of the movie. Who would have thought in 1992 times would be this "Jacked" in 2011.

  • @Archmetal06 yes it would, i will always miss the 90's,

  • @Archmetal06 FUKIN RIGHT

  • @Archmetal06 the 90s sucked too

  • @ThomasRowsell no fucking way, 80s & 90s was the best 2 decades of all times....period

  • @Archmetal06 Sir i am offended by your words for i am a 21st century boy Biaatch!

  • wow they predicted the future!!!! that's so exactly like what it is now!!!!

  • lol

  • lamo slimo

  • Ha HA funny - "take a look at these people - they've lived half there lives with no ozone layer" --- They didn't predict very well that the political scam of the day would be global warming and not the ozone layer....lol

  • Uhhh, the depletion of the Ozone layer, specifically around the polor icecap, has lead to global warming.

  • @TruckinMike1965 unless u consider the fact that the ozone layer is contributing a lot into the global warming if there was such a thing produced by human activity alone.

  • 2009??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ people from 1992! This movie looks like from the 80's.

  • Why only 2009? xD This destroys it..

  • seen this on cable was blown away, forgot all about this cool fucking gem> five months ago, was slick gotta see it again>

  • Brilliant movie. Emilio Estevez and Rene Russo were great.

  • Mick Jagger, David Johansen of the New York Dolls, and Oscar winner Anthony "Hannibal the Cannibal" Hopkins.

A classic film. I love it. All you little kids... you could learn a moment in rock and roll history from this film. Look up any of those names on Google. :)

  • this is halarious! lol its 2009

  • HAA mick jagger =D

  • STUPIED!!

  • "They've lived half their lives with no ozone layer!"

    lol Whatever happened to that?

  • Comment removed

  • aaaaaaahahahahaha!!!

    The future--2009!!

Hey , weren't we all supposed to have flying cars and robot butlers by now? Isn't life supposed to be like the Jetsons? Is the iphone really the best we can do? lol

  • @kelsmart exactly. now its iphone 4. who the fuk thinks of this shit... how to take as much time into the future of slowin down economic, technological, scientific, spiritual, social upgrades for the next 4 years. well. lets make a series of cellphone-toys and market them as different models ,changin up a few parts every now and then.

  • its 2009

  • wtf is this guy talking about freejack suck he needs a reallllllllllll hard kick in his u know what

  • Can you believe T2 was made a year BEFORE this movie? Freejack looks like it's straight from 1985. The governator's flick holds up much better.

  • ITS 2009 BABY xD hahahaha

"Welcome to the savage world of the year 2009."

    ahahhahahaha

  • @damonemx AHHAAHAHAHA!!!

  • @damonemx and I'll say more...

    Pouahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

  • After watching Mick Jagger's performance in this 1992 film, he's better off sticking to what he's good at which is Music and Singing, not Acting. lol lol For the film itself however, as Mick Jagger's character in the film would say: 'Not Baaad'. lol lol

  • one of this movies tagline was "Welcome to the savage world of the year 2009." i can't wait to say that next month haha

  • Along with"Alex Furlong died today. Eighteen years from now, he'll be running for his life."

As for the "Lose your mind...and you can live forever" line at the end of the trailer, it makes no sense. (Unless you are referring to McCandless' character which has "lost" his mind in the Spirtual Switchboard. I dunno. It is too early in the morning to be thinking so much about a forgotten movie made in the early ninetes. LOL.)

  • Takes one to know one, asslord...

  • wow

  • You want to a movie that really sucks more than anything watch superman 3 and it's clone spiderman 3 now they suck more than anything.

  • a brilliant piece of fiction.

  • one of the great sci-fi movies that i've seen.

  • Looks HOTT!

    MICK JAGGER too!

  • really though, every movie made in the 80's early 90's about the 2000's were bad, in a since of they always had movies that took place in like 2003 2009 2007 and war broke out cities gone end of the world , its like they had no hope for the new millenium

  • Terminator (2029), Robocop (well, they never really say what year in the future it takes place), and Bladerunner (2019) were the best!! How are you gonna forget them??

  • I think Robocop took place between T2 and T3.

  • I Love That Movie I've Got The Origanl Relese On Video.

  • I'm watching Millenium right now (1989) which uses kinda the same theme, and I just remembered about this!

  • Boy, in the future, they really go to extremes to make Jiffy Pop ;)

  • LOL the future is not a problem for Mick Jagger. He always looks the same!

  • I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago, DAMN it rocks!! Specially when Mick Jagger is in it ;D

  • according to this.....next year is gonna suck

  • So far so good hey :) you wrote that comment 10 months ago. Welcome! To the world of tomorrow!

  • Great movie. Two things that would have made it a classic...

The love interest wasn't needed. (Maybe they should have had it been Furlong's daughter that had grown. It would have been a little different.)

The whole--"Everybody has disease and sickness in the present so they have to hijack people from the past."--should have been omitted. The only line that was needed was that taking a body from the present is illegal.

  • ooo ministry.. great choice of music to play during the trailer!

  • Freejack was actually a very underrated movie. The storyline is great and Jagger finally prooves what a terrific actor he is. This is definitely one of my favorite movies of the early 90´s.

  • Awesome film. Mick Jagger is one hellovan actorr.

  • GET THE MEAT!

  • You are a genius from the future. Big Freejack party here in UK 23rd November 2009. Dress up as you favourite characters, except for Vacendik, because Petes got that one. Anyone comming then...? Thanks for posting.
