alladin sane is the most bowie of all bowie albums, from the pure pop of jean genie, the sophistication of alladin sane and lady grinning, singalong weirdness of drive in saturday,hard edge of cracked actor etc, etc- the vocals on the whole album are beyond compare. no other bowie album comes close in terms of variety, quality and originality.
