  • Dr. Eckener's company was trying to evolve into producing passenger railroad "streamliner" trains. As usual, I think the engines were sub-contracted. The Zeppelin airship company had at least one operating streamliner on US rails in the 1930's..The LZ 129 cabins were very similar to rail sleeper cabins, with mainly the materials differing.

  • Fantastic!

  • Dirigibles would have let passengers see more scenery and a greater distances than from the deck of a ship or from the window of a train. If Pullman dining cars could produce good meals in tight kitchens, then probably chefs on the dirigibles could also. However, the bunk beds seem unsuited for honeymooners, and the fabric walls of the "cabins" seem likely to allow embarassing sounds and odors to escape.

  • i really hope t hat they bring back Airship cruises

  • I have this book.

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we like to ride an ariship?

    (3) What is the enjoyment to fly on an airship comparing with that of a commercial jet?

    (4) If your home is on an airship, will you like to live in the sky? and, Why?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
