I love this song! It always makes me feel sad though...makes me kinda realize the true horrors of war. they're no just shooting other vehicles or mobile suits, theyre actually killing REAL human beings.... Nice AMV...

@metalterry yeah, but it never explains HOW they died. Char prolly died, but if Regular Gundam could enter the atmosphere, then Nu Gundam sure as hell could. i just hate open endings....especially if amuro survives, cuz hes a douche and a half. Char was cooler.

Kinda, but these ones fit at least. They're better than what Kotzen did, and it's better than Gackt's no matter what language it's in.

I remember the place I got this song bitching that his lyrics were actually too faithful... after people bitched like crazy at Kotzen for basically re-imagining it with loose amounts of faithfulness. No satisfying people, I suppose. :/

@RavenOfRazgriz Japanese songs just don't translate into english with any amount of quality. The reverse is also true. So much of the song just gets lost in translation and sounds bizarre in another language.

MUCH better. he acutally changes some of the lyrics so they make more sense in English without losing the meaning of the song and hes just over all a better artist, the way this guy sings it sounds like a children's sing a long song.

@Marchanman Yep. And I think WK's version is Sooooo much better than Koetzen's. Koetzen changes so much I think the song loses everything that makes it good. I mean c'mon, it's called "Soldiers of Sorrow," not "Soldiers of Pity." There are a couple good parts, like 1:08 "You gotta' fight, for all that you believe in!" But then 0:53 "A lotta' destruction, across the wasteland..." Uhg, it makes me cringe it just doesn't sound right...

@Nagatsu002 Naw man they sound great for this kind of cover. Certain areas the words seem a little run together but that's just due to word structure differences. I can actually make out everything they are saying. That's rare for a japanese produced english translation.
