  • and i thought mine started like shit...

  • Yours doesn't look like it has ever been fucked with like this was before I owned it. Wires going everywhere, running on <6 cylinders (2 blown spark plugs, the rest looked to be years old caked in gunk), radiator was shot, idle speed WAY off, and that's just the beginning of what's screwed up with the engine. It's a bitch to drive at times too, 7 leafs in the rear instead of the stock 2 (ex-construction truck), manual brakes, and overly-sensitive steering.

  • @howtowakeakar a couple bad spark plugs is a simple problem to remedy, radiators that are plugged or leaking are not uncommon, idle speed is as simple as the turn of a screw, 7 leaf rear suspension is not unusual in these older trucks, some half tons had 10 leafs from the factory, mine has manual brakes, and adjust your steering gearbox. i understand exactly what you're saying though. the truck looks pretty good though. i like these old things.

  • @schrankm It's pretty reliable, and I managed to fix pretty much everything since this video was posted. Starts much better, I should probably post a new video soon.

  • this truck looks exactly like my dads truck! same color too! thats a nice running classic you got there mate! engine sounds nice too.

  • anything moore stupid

  • @19juan67 Some people like watching this, others not.

  • @19juan67 seriously dude, go watch another video if you just want to make stupid comments about this fine chevy.

  • YOURTRUCK IS BEAUTIFUL

  • @TheOldcarlover Thank you

  • It takes a while for a man to get that one started.

  • @auaiao9 It's normally not that bad to start, only when it's been sitting for 2 or more weeks is it really bad.

  • That's not uncommon for a carbed vehicle to be like that after sitting awhile. It's a nice older truck and it looks like it's being taken care of by a man that appreciates it.

  • I try to take care of it, interior needs a bit of work, and by a bit I mean quite a lot, but for a senior in high school it's the perfect truck.
