Thanks! I usually run from 48 to do half ons and front handsprings. I am not a fast runner nor a slow runner, I am some where in the middle of them both. Would backing be a good idea? I do look down which might explain my trouble!!!! I told my coach about it and he put a smiley face on the wall behind the vault so I would focus on that!! :)
Awesome drill! Do you have any advice for those who crash into the vault from taking an extra step? I just can't seem to get the steps right and I always take one too many!
I always have advice! You need to adjust your run: you are either too close, too far away, starting on the wrong foot, or you're getting confused because you are looking down at the springboard instead of ahead in front of you. Maybe that will be the topic of my next drill video.
