@bogskeeter thats good for you. I am actually sorry that our messages are too long for you too read or side with and that it may even impede on your viewing. I cant talk for that other jackass, but i can say im sorry
@hollowice999 hahaha no worries, i was just trying to be witty; i'm sure when i get drunk/bored in a day or two i'll be three-shades of deep in reading your guys' convo...in between my sporadic visits to the "weird" part of YouTube.
@hollowice999 Are you really too dim-witted to realize that the ever- so-slightly off pitch singing mixed with the screeching guitars was supposed to be bringing a creepy feel to happy song, hence making it an actual cover, not just a reproduction of the same shit over and over again. Also, it's not electronically enhanced, it just has a little reverberation and a tape echo here and there. Wayne Coyne is one of the greatest musicians I have ever heard.
@peachkey if he is one of the best musicians you have ever heard, you must be Helen Keller or something because this is awful. way to ruin a good song
@peachkey thats because i was not looking for an arguement. i never said anything to offend anybody, i was merely stating my opinion. then you jump my shit because i have a differing opinion from yours. well, what the fuck makes you more correct than i am?
@hollowice999 Never said anything to offend anybody? You said it was terrible, he couldn't hold a tune, and then claimed it to be electronically enhanced. How is that not offensive? All I'm saying is that if you're gonna criticize, don't be ignorant to the artists intentions.
@peachkey so you are going to take offense of an insult that isnt even directed toward you? in what plausible universe does that make any goddamn sense? i never said "whoever listens to this has a shitty taste in music." i never said "whomever made this song should die in a hole because of the way they did this song." no i was merely expressing my opinon because this is the internet wher i am free to express any opinon i may have and just as you are allowed to have your differing opinon of this.
@hollowice999 It was directed toward someone I highly respect. I defended him. Express your opinion all you want, but when you say something to insult somebody that I respect, I'm going to defend them.
@peachkey well thats fucking retarded. it wasnt directed towards you so calm the shit down, and moreover, i expressed an opinon, i didnt throw an insult. what i said was he couldnt hold a tune....which is true. thats not really an insult for someone who isnt a musician, because musicians can usually...y'know sing AND be good at it
@hollowice999 Yes, it's "fucking retarded." What are you, a damn 12 year old? Let's use words that show a tiny bit of intelligence here. If you actually listened to some of their other songs you'd realize that he actually can sing. This, as I've said before, was just to create a deranged feel against the joyful, lyrics. Also, you did throw insults, you quite literally said it was terrible and sad. Music isn't all about the flash and glamour, it's the underlying creativity that's really important
@peachkey sad and terrible arent insults. they are adjectives i used to enhance my opinon. also, destroying a great song, made famous by the immortal Louis Armstong, is certainly an insult in its own right. besides, what ws done was not "creative" he covered a fucking song, terribly mind you
@hollowice999 So if I were to call you a sad and terrible person, it wouldn't be an insult? That's bullshit. Nothing is destroyed about the song, you can go march your happy ass right over to a video of Louis Armstrong singing it and pretend like there's no problems in the world, when in reality the world is fucked. I guess you'd rather hear a carbon-copy of the same shit over and over, rather than hear a new viewpoint on the song. You're probably the kind of person that hates change, huh?
@peachkey no because i am a terrible person. unlike most people, such as yourself you can call me any insult you wish because i never take offense to anything. why? because you are entitled to an opinion (see the paradox?) i never said the world was peaceful and happy. you assume that becasue i like that version better. i like change actually, spontinuity never hurt anyone. and this is in no way a new viewpoint. its the same song, with (maybe) different insturments but definately a worse singer
@peachkey @hollowice999
I think I speak for everyone when I say: tl;dr.

@hollowice999 Good rebuttal, you didn't even adress any of my points. All you did was make a Helen Keller joke, and those are totally overused.
