Hey, are you gonna be at Anime NEXT? If so, I definitely want to take you on! It's actually kinda sad, but I must admit that I've been watching a bunch of Sleeping Samurai videos and studying each move carefully and thinking of potential counterattacks, just for free stuff. I'll probably drag my friend along, who has a lot of sword fighting experience so we can win stuff for our club. Oh what we do for free stuff...

@swordsman91jwo Anime NEXT is at Somerset, NJ on June 18th - 20th. Admission is 60 bucks, but it's 35 for just Friday or Sunday and 45 for just Saturday. Sunday is an open tournament where any bought Sleeping Samurai weapon can be used. I'm hoping I get a pair of katanas at least to deal with the various other weapons with more reach.

@SB0083 I am in Texas and that is in the middle of my summer session of college so i wont be able to attend T_T. The katanas are light and using them onehaded is fine, just be careful not to lose grip on it.. The handles are kinda skinny so if your not carefull it can slip. Also remember you will be facing naginata, Dai-Katana, and several other long bladed weapons so fighting with 2 will be difficult do to the force being put into the blade. I found fighting with one allowed me more control...

@swordsman91jwo Actually, the only real threat should be the Dai Katana. The reason I would use two is because I can 6-count pretty much anyone to death, since it is both defensive and offensive if applied properly. Even if the Dai Katana and Naginata have more force, my style is quite fluid, so I would not be fighting force with force most of the time.

@swordsman91jwo By the way, how light are the katanas? I notice that many use it two-handed, but I have a feeling that it is perfectly normal to use it with one hand without much of a hindrance. This one fact can completely determine my style when using said weapons.
