If it was less than full brightness, that could make the display performance seem worse than it actually is.

htc's shortcomingsare usually in screen display department. Their screens usually have very very bad viewing angle and outdoor visibility.

Great screen performance for Nexus S. This is 2011 and most manufacturers don't even come close to a phone (or laptop) that actually is useable outdoors. What a shame.

Non of them will look good next to LG optimus back in strong light like that.. optimus blacks new ips nova screen is about 2 times brighter than the LG ips screen on iPhone 4.. I have desire hd..

Probably the better contrast on the google Nexus S is not just because of the Samoled, but because they put a OCA between the touch and the Display to reduce the reflection rate.

If HTC they wil do the same there will be not so much difference between the two devices!
