@DJcaliban i also agree with your opinion about not showing mongo its kinda disrespectfull not even one glimpse of him you can see him in the shadows almost.. now i wish the guy that took this video could explain to MONGO why he did not capture him in the video.? did he knew who mongo was or i should say is??now try this with any big stars like james brown, tom jones, fela kuti and you will see how long he would be on this job??.

The cup used on the trumpet is definitely not a mute it is in fact a toilet plunger to give a wa wa effect. a mute is a cone placed directly into the bell. But this is a common practice used a lot the big band setting in the 40's
