nice delay before you set the hook i seen alot of people just RIP the rod to the right when they see that initial hit, what lb test braid were you using?

Try a baitcast reel for frogs it has helped me hook up on more fish.

@FreshwaterAngling I use a baitcaster quite a bit. I have started using the spinning rod more and more because it forces me to slow down some. It also forces me to get better at casting with an eggbeater combo...... :). Thanks for the advice.

I am working on doing a better job on audio for these videos. Basically what I said was that it was October 9th, a cool front had moved through, the wind had been strong towards this bank and the dying grass was sinking. The bass were on that shoreline because the cooler water had been blown to that side.
