Desoto Hemi manifold 1

I want to know more because,i`m restoring a Hemi 330 to my Desoto 1956 fireflite

I have what I belive is a desoto hemi ID # s17 but it has a chrysler generator and starter and distributor. Were these 2 1 company at one time ? Do they sell parts to over haul the 276? thanks

They belonged to the big four Chrysler, Desoto Plymouth Dodge. Only Chrysler Desoto and Dodge built Hemi engines. Each one had individual development and very few parts are interchangeable but things like generator distributor and starters could be interchanged to some degree.

Yes you can still get parts to rebuild the 276

this is a new manifold i have built for the 330 desoto have a look on the hamb and search for desoto hemi manifold
