I just bought a YC-25D today for $400. To say that I was blown the fuck away would be a gross understatement. Superb Hammond, Vox, and Farfisa sounds all in one package. I'm so surprised that this organ never got the kudos that the Farfisa Compact Duo or Vox Super Continental Baroque did. It's such a versatile instrument, even more so when ran through a Leslie Speaker.

In youre opinion, how close can it come to sound like a Vox Continental? I am looking for something that is not as price as a Continental, which by the way is almost non exsisting i Denmark:) I stumbled upon this YC-25D and the buyer wants 3000 DKK for it. It translates into roughly 550 Dollars.

Hi!. I own this same organ and I think that it can come close to Vox Cont. sounds. I've been trying to play some Animals stuff (I love Alan Price playin') and its quite similar. Through a Leslie it is also supercool. Of course it's not a hammond but it has a "similar" sound...

I managed to track down a YC45 over the weekend...seems to have Three problems though. First, I couldn't afford the Leslie the owner had so I just bought the organ, second the bass notes wig out every once in a while and third the Trombone, Flute, strings and other tabs don't work. I need to find a shop, thanks for the video! Otherwise I'm super stoked!

do you mean YC30,YC20,orYC10?I have heard the yc30 sunded better then my organ.I like my organ but not the heavy weight 60Kg!
