  • This is taken from the second Timex All Star Jazz Show which was broadcast live from CBS studios in New York on April 30th 1958. Besides Louis and Jack the band consists of Rubby Braff (trumpet), Tony Parenti (clarinet), Marty Napoleon (piano), Chubby Jackson (bass) and Cozy Cole (drums) - what a band!

  • Of course Satchmo was from Louisiana! Jack Teagarden, on the other hand was born in Vernon, Texas.
