The Goverment touts the 6.5% unemployment figure as that we are not in a depression. As 25% unemployment figure is denoted to be a depression.
My cousin is filing a workmens comp case and was told the 25% of people in Ky were on disability.
If that is the case nationwide then the true unemployment figure is well over 30% not even counting the people who have just given up which the goverment does not count if their statistics.

I can't dance and I don't party. I live below my means. Women just haven't been attracted to guys like me (at least not in my lifetime). Soon though, a guy who's planned for all this, has a depression proof career, and lives comfortably in the new situation, will become desirable.
I'm almost past caring though and I've become very comfortable living alone. Still, the time my come when I'd be wise to have someone who can watch my place while I'm working.

A recession is 2 back to back quarters of negative GDP, here are the numbers
2008 GDP
Q1 +.6% revised to 1%
Q2 + 1.8%
Q3 -.5%
We've had a grand total of ONE quarter of negative growth and thats Q3
So the report is wrong. I don't give a damn if 99 out of 100 economist say it's so
