  • watch this with headfones

  • does it have stereo in and out?

  • sound a & b from the same amp?

  • @kevenbelangerharbour

    sounds awesome. lol

  • This is a great demo, but in reality how many people would actually use 2 amps if they just play in pubs and small clubs?

  • I was listening to this with stereo headphones, I was getting dizzy from the intro lol

  • I just got this thing today, if i put it at the end of the chain to put it to 2 amps the pan works great but when i try to use the delay to make some swells it cuts off the delayed signal instead of leaving it "floating", i tried it at the begining of the chain but then one of the outputs doesnt work with the rest of the pedals , what do you recomend? i´ve seen every video there is on you tube and no one mentiones this

  • @TheArrow66 if possible, youd want pedals with stereo ins and outs. seeing as most pedals are only going to be mono, youd have to do some searching. you could technically still run one of the stereo outs to the other amp, while running your normal pedal chain from the other out on the pedal and into your main amp. since I dont own the pedal I can say for sure, with that configuration though, when you switch to regular volume mode, the second amp without any effects should be running as well.

  • Respond to this video... check out some behringer pedals. I have a behringer delay with stereo ins and outs and it was like $45 with shipping

  • Hey... It's a great idea... I like it... but unfortunatelly too much money for me :) but nice pedal

  • that stereo tremolo is a bit painful. I would never do that on a recording.

  • thats hurt for my Ears... :S

  • good sound

  • It's innerts are showing! :O

  • I heard his brothers' name is 'Folk'

  • your name is not 'Blues' your parents did not name you 'Blues' it is a marketing ploy

  • He nice man.Good man.

  • When you switch off of the panning mode, I assume it will use both amps in conjunction with each other, rather than picking between one or the other, yes?

  • does the pedal take only one cord from your guitar and split it into two outgoing signals?

In other words I don't need to split the signal going into the pedal?

  • can you use it like a normal volume pedal...

  • @rezlaa Yeah, 1:27 is a good example. If you mean for only one amp, just use output B.

  • wow,alec baldwin has another brother?cool

  • it's a cool pedal... however it's not very practicle. i already use a univibe, and have a distortion pedal in my effects loop. gives off pretty much the same effects and easier to keep track of. i use an off the shelf volume pedal and get the same effect as every other volume pedal. the only one that's really worth the extra cash is the visual volume

  • @zeromike509

How would a univibe and a distortion pedal be anywhere near the same as this?

The univibe is a phasing effect, nothing near what this one does.

Also, why the f*ck do you have a distortion pedal in the loop? o,0

  • YAYY I have it now !

  • Can i use this volume pedal as gain control? By putting my distortion before my volume pedal?

  • Just get a regular volume pedal. I wouldnt pay extra for this unless you want the stereo panning.

  • @TwentyThirdEye

Well, see it like this: You can send your guitar signal through 2 completely different signal chains, and then use the pedal to mix in between them.

One example could be putting an eq with a midboost and reverb in one path, and nothing in the toher, so you could use the pedal as a dynamic soloboost.

  • @AwesomeBuddy12

you have to put vour volume pedal before the distortion for using it as a gain control.

You can do this with every volume pedal

  • @4ntiIvIon What do you mean by "before the distortion" ? I mean, how would "after the distortion" be like ?

  • @mickeymanouche

when the cable from the guitar goes directly into the volume pedal it would act like the volume control of the guitar.

putting the guitar first in the distortion and the volume after it, the pedal wouldn't have any effects on the gain

  • Listening to this with headphones makes me want to rip my ears off.

  • can you imitate reverse solo's with a volume pedal?

  • @dirtypaper if u have a fast foot

  • I use mine to drift back and forth between two amps with two banks of stomp boxes. I've found it is awesome for taming the tricky qualities of my vintage MUTRON III. You can drift gently over to the amp with the MUTRON III and control the amount of "quack" that often makes those vintage jewels hard to work with. I've also used it to drift over to another amp with an old HEIL SOUND talkbox. You get a smooth transition without the annoying "POP" and probably also less strain on the amp circuit....

  • It's only a left cut and a right cut. An equal balance of L & R results in a significant signal loss.

A bad spin on an A B box.

  • attach sausages to it........this works for me...

  • Wow he talks reallly fast at the begging.

  • I'm just looking for something to increase my volume live while playing a guitar solo.

  • @WickedSabbath18 Get a volume pedal with a minimum volume knob. that way you can set the rhythm to whatever level you see fit, tilt the pedal all the way back and for the solo, tilt it all the way forward acting as a boost.

  • So will that feature of panning, and of setting up the AB feature only work if you're using 2 amps?

If so, is there any way of having both those features but just using one amp when playing live?

    Great video nonetheless.

  • can you do the panning by using 2 different channels in ONE amp?

  • wow ... you get dizzy from listening awesome pedal

cool for pink floyd kind of stuff

  • thats cool u could just switch to both modes with your foot. these dont need an AC adapter or batteries right?

  • ALSO it's handy to use with a talkbox, coz you can leave your talkbox switched on, and use the ERNIE BALL to creep over to the amp with the talkbox on it....thus avoiding that annoying "pop" that most talkboxes do when you switch them on.

  • help i have a cry baby/vol pedal and i dont know how to get the wah it just keeps using the vol plz help sum1

  • I use this pedal with two amps, each with a different bank of stompboxes. I LOVE IT!!! It's built like a tank, I've already had it for over 10 years.....still going strong. I used it with a mu-tronIII and it was superb at taming the "quacky" properties of the mu-tron, and made it a much more controllable effect.....kinda like a wah or a PARAPEDAL.

the other amp had a cry-baby and a VOODOO LABS "proctavia" on it. I can shift silently between amps/effects with the Ernie Ball.

  • check out my video response on here to see the control you can have over several dramatic effects and two amplifiers using the ERNIE BALL STEREO/PAN PEDAL. It is the BEST pan pedal I could find. I tried several different ones, too.

  • have you tried pushing it all the way forward til it clicks? that's probably your best bet.

    also: try the manual.

  • yeah i tried that nd i have not got a manual coz i got it off a friend

  • try looking for a manual online, sometimes the manufacturer will post it online. is there a button or anything that could possibly click to switch modes?

  • No idea about the vintage amp but the "boutique" one is a Bogner Duende. Great amp BTW.

  • ROCK ON !!

  • now that is perfect for going from distortion to clean without a huge difference in volume. awesome

  • Haha hey Jake

  • hey nick

  • Comment removed

  • @jakenfriedlove So you can go progressively from clean to distortion, if i got it right ? Does it still work with only : Guitare--Pedal--Amp ? (with only one amp)

  • @jakenfriedlove

Not really. Pan mode has a huge volume drop at the halfway point. Thus the pronounced tremolo effect in the video.

  • Gr8 Demo! Keep them coming.....
