So many people confused about the speed of dnb ;) dnb is between 160 and 200 bpm, tho the usual is 172-178 range. Often, especially with drumstep, the beat is half tempo. Get this straight, it doesn't matter if it 160 or 80 bpm, you can use either the only difference is at 80 bpm the pattern placement for the beat would be double that of 160 in one segment. 160 would have kick, snare, kick snare. 80 would be kick, snare, kick snare, kick, snare, kick snare. Either way the beat will sound the same
