I agree with you I absolutely can't stand braid outs! Hate them. They're just way too much work taking the braids out. Even with larger braids it still comes out frizzy looking.

Your hair looks great! I just perfected my braid outs - I did not like my results either.  Just a suggestion - I take larger sections of hair than I would for a twist out, braid them tightly, add shea butter on the ends and finger coild the ends also. I get great definition and no frizzies on the ends! Keep up the good work!

First of all, love your videos. I've experienced the same love-hate with my braid-outs, and so every few months I won't do them, and do twist-outs instead. As I've learned with my hair getting longer, you might like your braid-outs better if you made them thicker in your set. Or try doing thicker cornrows (saves time too) rather than a whole bunch of individual plaits. Love the purple, keep up the creativity. God Bless!

I used to have the same problem with frizz when i did my braid outs... when you go to seperate the hair, try seperating it based on the hair thats naturally clumped together, if that makes any sense? Lol hope i helped

I like the color but I think if you had weaved or put some thin slices of the natural hair into the area that you colored the effect wouldn't be so dramatic. But the color looks good and if dramatic is what you were going for I think it's great.

I love your braid out!! Perhaps if you made your plats bigger and don't separate the three sections you'd get a more defined look but it looks very natural. I really like this color. I have to say, I think it is too much at the scalp and that part does look like a spill or glop or mistake. I'm sorry. I don't usually come on people's videos with disagreement, but I ALWAYS love your videos. Please do not take offense. I LOVE that color, and thought about doing something similar to my own. I have to disagree with some of you. I think this is one of the best hairstyles i have seen in a long time. She looks absolutely beautiful. maybe youre making your plaits too small.. the smaller it is the less hair there is to create a wave.. (if that makes sense).. try larger ones and see what happens :) i dont like my braid outs either when I do them too small.

I think something you could try for better braid outs is bigger plaits. Your plaits are pretty small so maybe try making some bigger braids. Also I love Shea Moisture Curl enhancing smoothie for my braid outs. Check out my braid out results on my channel. I had high shine and weight, no frizz and tons of compliments. I also have a blog with more pics. The thing with with the Shea Moisture is I like it on dry hair only. So I wouldn't put it on freshly washed hair but rather a blow out or already

@Myimani yes, i would suggest bigger braids too. i think that she does the smaller ones to reduce frizz tho. because the bigger braids, when you take them down, you have to separate the chunks of hair...that creates frizz sometimes. still pretty tho
