dont pay attention of (prince of pecica) get Lg is better than samsung, also philips and sony, hitachi make better plasma than samsung, samsung got good quality but they dont last plus dont get plasma tv get led or lcd they last longer and have better quality picture,my top five tv are, #1philips aurea with(ambilight)#2pioneer kuro#3sony bravia#4sharp aquos#5 toshiba regza, then lg, people think samsung is a good brand but samsung have a lot of tecnical problems.....

the contrast isent importante focus on the resolution the human eye only goes at 700:1 so its only to sell ive got an hitachi 42pd8700 with 4000:1 and a res:1024x1080p

and looks better than most of the plasmas :-)

1024x1080p?? Dream on. Thats almost like a plasma stood on its end! It will be more like 1024x720 or 768. Thats means its a EDTV or SDTV )extra definition/standard definition). A true HD display tv is anything above 1920x1024i/P.

meh, looks like any other tv, just a waste of money that will malfunction in a year or so. Warranty is a must with all these new lcds, plasmas, and projection tvs. They don't make em like they used to yet the price has gone up considerably.
