Gameplay wise I enjoyed this game as much as any other Metroid game except the first Metroid Prime and I've played ever Metroid game except Metroid 2 Return of Samus, the story however I won't defend, that I'll admit was awful.

@vflail I promise you that Link will not talk in Skyward Sword. Link is meant not to talk. Samus talks in this game, because she already talks in Super Smash Bros Brawl, through her taunts. Also, she talks in Metroid Fusion. Not by voices of course, but by text. Don't forget that Zelda games don't have voice acting, only text and I promise you Link will not talk in the new game, nor will he ever talk.

Metroid Other M angers me. Having played other games of the seires the combat is slightly fun but what I am mad about is that they ruin Samus's "Im a silent bad ass whos also not sexualized, Im gonna shoot you in the face" charecter. Not a deep charecter but then again, no nintendo charecter is deep. Giving her a voice and that cliche story line about her moaning and whining over Malkovich is bull. Im not a huge nintendo fan, but Samus is someone I liked cause she was bad ass. I think it sucks.

I have played enough of it. Besides, the general concenses agrees with me. I dont judge games before I play them, but if a demo is all I need, then the demo is all I need. Not that a demo portrays the full game to its full capabilities. For example: Castlevania's downloadable game on the live arcade. The demo is horrid but the full game is better. In case of Other M, the game is just terrible. Besides, Im more mad at how they portray samus, the gameplay is meh.

I belive so. I played the japanese realse last month and I must say I am impressed. Of course graphic and contoll wize its going to be better on the ps3, but for a wii game it actually impressed me how good it looked. The game play is simmalar to 99knights even though (for obvious reasons aside from gameplay) Its compared to samurai and dynasty warriors. Personaly, I think its worth the investment, and when It realses in the states It will be sold for 40 instead of 60.

Yes alot of violence is considered immature, but its how the violent idea or concept is implemented that decides this. An example is this game, yes it is a shooter, therefore violence, but it is backed up with story, mystery, nostalgia, etc. that makes it a more mature concept.

No games console is best. ALL consoles have their strengths and weaknesses and ALL consoles have both good and bad games. The only REAL gamers are the ones who are able to enjoy any console without attacking and insulting other gamers for having a preference to any one game genre or series.

I disagree, I personaly dont hate any console, I play 360 Ps3 and Wii on a regular bassis, I prefer the PS3, but what I hate is what people use as their back up argument on the console wars. For example Halo, that over glorified pos. What I would except as a good argument is Mass effect 2, but now that it is coming to ps3 It doesnt count anymore. And Wii just dosent have that many games I consider fun, except no more heroes, but same concept applies with mass effect.

@TokeBiG that review was corrupted, nintendo bribed them. i dont think youve played SMG2 because SMG1 pwns it anyway. Metroid and Zelda have THE BEST storyline and THE BEST gameplay ever. Mario continues to get more commercial and child - like in every game, and hes starting to become a stupid plumber rather than an awesome fighter. Metroid continues to progress with its fans, and same with Zelda. Mario is becoming stupid. Even the artwork is getting childish. Its about a fairytail storybook ffs
