Fergie keeps Park bc he deserves to be in the squad, but Park also has god-like status in Korea. Korea is a very rich country, and something ridiculous like a 1/3 of Koreans have a Man Utd credit card. Think about that. If Utd are smart they'll take Morimoto to get even bigger in Japan (Their Chinese experiment, Dong Fangzhou is long over), and start expanding not only the credit cards, but banking, and basically any other industry they choose to enter. Forget ticket revenues, this is big money.

Younger than Chung Yong or younger than Park? Chung Yong is nearly 2 months younger than morimoto if that counts for anything. But you can't make a fair comparison between the two. First of all, Morimoto and Chung Yong play in totally different leagues at different positions. Same with park and Morimoto though Park is a veteran and as the moment better. Morimoto has more potential than Park. Lee Chung Yong is probably the better player though as he adapted faster to a harder league, the EPL.

But nevertheless Morimoto is a great player. Though the Serie A doesn't get much attention by Asian countries as the English Premier League does, it is a great league and it's great to see an Asian player at Striker, usually they're Midfielders. Hopefully, this guy will be an inspiration for more Asian strikers along with Park Chu Young. Best of luck to him.
