  • Great job Yasir....ethiopian ..we love you

  • Dumb song !

  • From Brazil- an interesting melody construction. How do you call this kind of rhythm?

What the means of this lyrics?

    Congratulations

  • This is such a nice singer, who sings Ethiopian Song, in a such a lovely way. Bless Him. If we all be nice to each other, share our culture, and forget about what Stupid Politicians do, this world would have been a great place to live. I Ethiopian, and love sudanse music a lot. When I see Sudanese people here in London, they talk to me in Arabic- i tell them I am from next door. simple. Long live, sudan and Ethiopia.

  • In the Sudan, we loved Emperor Haillaselase, the famous football player ( in the 50s and 60s) Mangistu, together with Alamayo and Minlik the outstanding Ethiopian entertainers. They still live in our deep conscious. We know that there are differences between the Sudanese and the Ethiopians, but the integrating factors are more than the differentiating ones. We love Ethiopians and their culture. They are our brothers. Long live the Sudanese- Ethiopian brotherhood.

  • Love the accent. Ethiopians LOVE Sudanese people!

  • 124AFRICA;

It is great that not only he enjoys our music he even singing our song.

You need show some decency and stop being an ass.

  • @eskinder3870

In what way he should show decency? Why should you say such a thing to some one who sings songs from your country while he is a foreigner? you should feel proud instead ..Are you going to tell Etheopians who sings 10s of Sudnaese songs to show decency? I know that your attitude is negative and i met 1oos of Etheopians who love sudanese songs

  • It is known that some Amharic songs are so popular in Sudan. As Sudanese's songs are famous among us.

124AFRICA though his lyrics are not clear, you have to admire his vocal and effort or remain silent out of respect. Peoples from different nationalities in Ethiopia could say the same when most our famous singers daringly sings their precious songs knowing nothing further than the chorus (azmach). Instead of reproving they appreciate the endeavor and enjoy the feeling of belongingness.

  • All u people, instead of criiticzing each other Enjoy again Enjoy the music, life is to short!

  • mobaaaaalga

  • this guy is not you sudani.juse another Ethiopian try tobe sudani

  • Yasir Tamtam, can you teach loser agames amharic that way they can understand real ethiopians?

  • Although I encountered difficulties in understanding the language of Mr. Tamtam, I am not ashamed to express my admiration the way he alongside the band beautifully played this piece of great, old Ethiopian song. Wether he intended that for enterteinment purpose or just to grab our attention on YouTube, the display reflected his deep affection towards the tradition of Ethiopian music . Well done and looking forward to seeing additional Ethiopian songs depicted in sudanese-style. Thank you.

  • Yasir Tamtam, you're lovely singer, thank you.

  • i love sudan

  • Live long Ethiopia , Eritrea , Sudan & all African countries ...we will rise one day if we respect and mingle with our brothers in Africa ...DEVIDED WE FALL , UNITED WE STAND .

  • i love it when Ethiopians sing Sudaness song too, may be it sounds funny for Sudanes but this tradition is beautiful and it should go on. Beautiful, and i love it.

  • i love it, wow it is great

  • i wish agames speak amharic like you,so they can understand the people of ethiopia better.

  • This is no particular person song, it's a standard, a wedding song, however you can say the great Mahmoud Ahmed made it one of his signature songs, gave it a flavour and it made the song cross over to the world.

  • this yasser is 100% sudanese and he is min Abu-rouf and he used to sing in all our family parties, he is so decent, nice and very shy.

  • i heard Sayed Khalifa singing this song more than 20 years ago, i guess it is a sudanese song, but mixed

  • this is an old ethiopian traditional wedding song centuries old, it is not a sudanese song, get your facts right.

  • Dear zaitoonaOlive I red your comment and it is not clear to whom you were replying.?.?

Anyways this artist had done good job. He included a coulple of songs in this work. But as far as I remember he is not the only Sudanese to sing in Amharic. I have seen some of them. Sayed Khaleefa's "Fiqrish Ayarejem" is one of them. I like their way of singing and I enjoy their accent very much. Keep the good work.

  • Thanks sfscorpio...I LOVE IT.Keep it up Sudan!

  • You arrogant Ethiopians, you can't argue without insulting others. What a shame! You have bad manner.

  • So sweet, I love your accent.

  • What a wonderfull Artist! Thanyou very much for your Contribution for our Brotherhood. I want to you in Addis Ababa for Ethiopian Milenium. Promise?

  • He is both elegant and quite international at the same time...He even has the Ethiopian words true to form. Congratulations....We need millions of people like you!

  • He did a great job concedering the circumestances. But it's amazing how ethiopians and sudanese butcher each others music....which is sooooo cool

  • The funny thing is, when an Ethiopian singer sing a sudanee song with accent, we the Sudanese, love more than the Sudanese singer version!!! I guess thay kind of add some flavor to it, some Ethiopian barbare!!!.

  • Shimbra be open mind , u should thank him ,bcz he is able to expose ur Culture to his ppl

  • I could hear many of the things that he is saying. It is a wonderful job for singing as a second language. You guys who say he spoiled our language, u should join "art class for beginners", u r too imature. Besides, you can hear him better than hearing Aster (don't misundertand me, I admire her too).

  • jebude i agree wiz u i can hear him better than Aster and other ethio. singers

  • it is ethios and he did an ausome job on it u ethios should be freakin happy for you lingo is weird some times lol too much che chn in it lol.neverthless it is a beautiful song.

  • yes this is Ethio song it is by Mahmoud Ahmed..."almaze menealalehu

  • Really he was better than me !!! good try

  • i think he is from sudan but iz singing da ethiopian song

  • his light skine for sudanese hahaha funny like mutherfucker!!!

  • What do you mean, you white boy?

  • waw, that realy shows that u know nothing about sudanese. he is neither 2 dark, or 2 light 4 sudanese, we come in all shades, which does not matter, but just to show u how stupid ur comment is, trying 2 make it as something degrading, which shows your own low self steem

  • It dosn't matter so what ur point???haha Olive

  • It does not matter to me how dark or light a person is, unlike u, otherwise u wouldn't have made that stupid comment

  • hahahaha..good one!

  • OMG he's singing Almaz Medenenew in a Sudanese accent!! My eyes and ears r confused

  • OMG he's singing Almaz Medenenew in a Sudanese accent!! I can't believe it, my eyes and ears are being deceived!

  • If you think "Almaz Mendenenew" is the name of this song, you should be Sudanese:)

  • haha

  • cool man amazing

  • Thanks for screwing up our beautiful songs u dumb suddenness. Ethiopian wanna be.

  • what about ehtiopian's singing sudanese songs? although they are not even good at it. but i personally appreciate their work because they loved it and gave it a try and added their own flavours into it. go and c ma bi nikhtalif, znooba, mahasnak videos please. we are all africans and we should support our people.

  • stupid.

  • He did a good job.

  • why all the bitterness, young man? he is having fun and so are those of us who know how to have fun. it's its quite obvious that he is not Manamud Ahmed. relax and have fun, you tight-ass... let go!!!

  • If you say dumb Sudanese then you are mistaken, I am not intending taking your course of insulting all Ethiopians just because of your narrow minded set of viewing things in theri wider scope. Ethiopians & Ethiopia are and is a country of great history and heritage and it would be unjust to tarnish all the beauty of Ethiopia because of an ignorant person like you.

  • Yasir is showing respect towards our musical tradition, just as other great sudanese singers did and just as Ethiopian singers showed respect towards the Sudanese music tradition by covering their songs! AFRICA UNITE!

  • category that is

  • Hahahahaaha this should be put under comedy!

  • What about trying the singer in court for abusing the song? Don't we have laws for it? :-)

  • u shut up shimbra he sing it better than u ?

  • niceeeeeeeeee song thnx alot

  • good good good

  • This is an amharic wedding song. Mahmoud Ahmed made it famous.

  • sounds OROMO

  • nice try! hahaha

  • NIIICE! :D

  • The song is Ethiopian, the singer is Yasir Tamtaam, Sudanese. Presumably he's the first to come up with "Sajami Algirid", which, as you can see, is basically the beat of this song.

  • Thanks guys for the help....I'll edit the video information based on your input

  • am sure its etiopian

  • I've heard different versions of this song many times and its definetly ethiopian- amharaingha yaaaaaaaa!
