i think this colour/aging/setup/sound/tone combination is the planet in the world of stratocasters. faded blue, maplecap, whit pickg..... IMO this is the best guitar you have in your inventory.
kind of reminds me of Albatross by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac
For those youtubers who have not had the chance to listen to the original bluesy fleetwood mac needs to asap. Check out albatross, rattlesnake shake, the green manalishi, and much more! By the way peter greens fleetwood mac originally did black magic woman.
Please could you just help me out a bit mate? I got a slide today and tuned to open E tuning. I really want to be able to play this style of guitar but i have no idea how to play the blues scale in open E tuning. I know it in standard tuning but i am completely new to open E tuning and sliding. Any help would be really appreciated.
@adooradoor4you i too am learning- have learned a great deal on youtube videos- just keep watching them. this video is more of a demonstration as supposed to a lesson.
my friend... you´re awesome guitar player, it´s always a plesure to wach your vids each second... another amazing thing is the tone on this japanese guitar. I just bought one this year and it became my favorite strat, as you saw in the video I have an american vintage. But I preffer the japanese model from late 80´s.
@JVStratocasters haha....thats why ur description says open e....wonders will never cease eh?....love this vid jv as i do all the vids u post....so much talent!!...i know i will get there...one day...! thanx for inspiration....people always ask for lessons and tabs on your vids but if you just watch carefully you dont need either....any notes you miss you can improv....how can you tab what you jam right??
Thank you! Believe it or not, Sandra was made from a sunburst Squier Classic Vibe. Body- and neck woods are all thats left of it, everything else upgraded/replaced/painted/reliced by myself. Maybe not a real vintage gem like your guitars, but I love her :) Oh, and great playing here once again!
The one dislike came from the person that originally made the song
