@MissBalletKitty I'm not sure the exact definition of the two but i know in battement tondu's you sort of throw your leg up without bending your knee. While in battement frappes you bend your knew and have your foot in this position in the video. Thats as much as i can help.. Hope you keep ballet up! it's amazing!! :D
@MissBalletKitty In a battement tendu, the working foot never leaves the floor. It should always be in contact with the ground and should slide between positions. A battement frappe is more of a striking motion. When you see them doing the battement frappes to the side at 00:15-00:21, my teacher always told me to try and make a definite sound as the ball of your foot strikes the ground. (Be aware, though, Russian ballet teaches frappes differently.)
nope this is an exercise to prepare fore center work the barre exercise gives you suport to enhace your techniche and this isnt a recital, its a visit class wich means that you shows the way you work in class, in this case the examination

when you are faceing the barre its only one time cause you are already using both sides during the exersice.
