  • his godfather was a better player.

  • Barry could do it all,hes the best ive ever seen period.

  • the greatest baseball player ive ever seen

  • I've been a Pirates fan for nearly forty years. Barry was my favorite player in the '80s.. when he left Pittsburgh I was hearbroken. lol Then that led to hatred. lol Now I just wish my Buccos would sign him!! Ha!

I don't live in PA so I didn't see many of his games in person but I was at one of his first games his rookie year (his first week in MLB.) I saw his first career double. And I remember he wore the # 7!!

  • where's the first part?

  • Good video....seriously...I think Barry Bonds is awesome.

I think it's a shame that he is facing perjury and obstruction of justice charges. Telling the truth is the best choice in situations like this, otherwise, most of America will label him and choose to forget the incredible things he's done in MLB.

  • 1. Forget comparing Bodns to anyone because he was simply never pitched to. The guy was walking 150+ times a year for 18 years!! Mays was simply not as feared..

    2. Bonds was the player of the roid filled 90's clean.

    3. Bonds did nothing different then the rest of the league..

    4. Mays did NOT have the option to use steroids and if he did you can't tell me 100% for sure they would not do it.. Players in the 90's didn't just become bad people, players have always done ANYTHING for an edge

  • i'm glad someone finally supports Bonds and doesn't immediately jump on the media band wagon and listen to all of them..but i do want to say one thing about your first point there..it's not that Mays wasn't as feared..it's that the pitchers weren't afraid of him..you can't tell me Koufax, Gibson, Drysdale, and those guys would have simply pitched around a batter..they would've straight up challenged him

  • good point. pitchers had a tougher attitude back then. they didnt show fear. they were so mentally tough

  • barry the best ever, what a joke, he isn't 1/2 the player mays was

  • What are you talking about?? Mays won 2 mvps Bonds has 7!! and could easily have 11.. Mays could do everything .. Bonds does the same. Mays never got to 40-40 he never slugged 700 let alone 860 and he sure as hell wasn't pitched around like Bonds AND HAD HALL OF FAMERS AROUND HIM IN THE ORDER(CEPEDA, MCCOVEY) Bonds had Kent in front of him and was still walked over 140 times 10 seasons.. Mays was never walked 140 times Why would pitcher pitch to mays and not Bonds if Mays is the better player?!?

  • and Mays never cheated. Mays played less games in his era. Barry Bonds is a cheater, a disgrace to baseball and should be taken his homeruns away and banned from baseball all around.

  • ok ...say Bonds did do steroids (which i don't think he did)..they said he allegedly started using them in 98..ok..so take his stats away from 98 - 07..he still has over 400 homers..over 400 steals..he would still be in the hall of fame..so what would have had to gain by using them?

  • the thing that really gets me about this bonds thing..is that he never tested pos. for steroids. its not fair what they do to the man. like fucking showing his rookie card next to his last couple years of baseball is unfair. everyone gets bigger after 20 years..

  • @St0rmB11 A bigger contract

  • @St0rmB11 your an idiot if you think bonds didnt do steroids. people dont get ripped and your head dosent grow when your in your mid to upper 30s lmao. you obviously dont know anything. and i agree he would have made the HOF. all he did was lose the respect of all baseball fans and ruined records.
