@allright715 i get that it's way harder. i understand not doing EVERY song with crossovers, as it seems the general goal is just moving faster and crossovers certainly hamper that goal, but the occasional 200-220bpm song with crossovers would be be nice, as well as just as impressive as passing 250+bpm 18s.
@videokyd It may be a good idea to have crossovers as bursts but the player is so concentrated in making sure that they stay in combo that the pattern itself doesn't seem to alert them as effective as just putting 24ths. Crossovers in constant stream is not a good idea because the trance they stay in would be disrupted and would affect their FA greatly due to double stepping instinctively. Forget turning because that would waste more energy than half-turning unless the streams are trills.
@allright715 every single one of those things just sounds "lazy" and are stuff that you can most definitely improve. i get if a player just wants to stream super fast and takes the appropriate measures to streamline this goal, but there really is no valid excuse for at least occasionally including a crossover heavy song at a higher BPM. if the goal is pushing yourself, and you progressively make the streams harder like matt has been doing with the Tachyon packs, then crossovers = inevitable
@videokyd Honestly, I'm talking from a theoretical viewpoint here as I never streamed 150+ BPM. So why don't you talk about this with the guys over there at Aaron in Japan?
@allright715 because the account i had on there has been banned. the last time i tried to make an account aaron never approved it despite me using a different IP now. i'd love to, but i doubt that ever gonna happen haha
A vulgar picture is way fucking easier. It's slower, requires much less stamina and the patterns would be easier as well. It wouldn't even be a 17. And I hope you're not wanting every song by that band to be a stepchart. =P
You can find it on bemanistyle(dot)com and some of the double bass stream is cut off or else it would be too tiring. It's still has a LOT of 256 bpm stream though. =)
LoL I missed this video. What in the hell is this? It's insane! ò_ò
