  • Yet another cocky BMW driver.

  • he was just getting his car wash that all

  • Idiotic Government caused this.

Who would be stupid enough to refuse help?

  • only wins ,,,no matter

  • Finally the taiwanese got what they deserved. It is called "Karma".

  • be cautious about comments vis-a-vis other countries and their disaster preparations!

NEVER FORGET the incredibly bad way we in the USA handled the KATRINA FLOODS in Lousiana. the totally incompetent way we handled that disaster caused the image of the USA to sink dramatically.

  • too bad authority doesn't give a damn about these people

death toll can be well over 1000

why the f*ck would you stop American and Japanese from rescuing these people desperate in need, PRESIDENT MA??

  • from what i have read, the personel on hand was adequate, but the floods and winds wiped out a large number of roads and bridges. what the govt asked for from other countries was cargo carrying helicopters. so they could get the available rescue workers to where they were needed.

  • what\s really tick me off is Ma\s government either did not care or they intended to kill these people...now they even lie about they didn't "refuse" foreign help...

Clearly Ma does not have what it takes to run a country....not to say he's a big fat lier...what a dirty bastard....f*ucking piece of shit

  • Excellent footage indeed. I came to Taiwan from California just a day before Morakot made landfall. I'm currently in the north so it's fine. It's really devastating, just watching the news and hearing the people asking for help. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Taiwan.

    NEED HELP!!!!

  • this video brings back memories of staying outside in guam in 1984 during typhoons vanessa , bill, and clara. two of those were classified as super-typhoons with winds exceeding 155 mph. we stayed outside at the agana boat basin.

  • Wow what a story. Why did you stay outside? Were the structures not sound enough and you were scared to stay indoors? I can't imagine staying outside in a hurricane. We had a huge thunderstorm here last night and I walked out into it to see what it would be like. The rain was pelting me so hard it hurt my arms. It was cool though, because almost like on cue, I raised my arms toward the sky and in that instant a huge lightning bolt cracked overhead and the thunder shook the ground.

  • watching this video and others by typhoon hunter made me realize that some of the local people stay outside during the storm. we were adventurous californians who had never been in a typhoon(s).

  • Thx James.

But it is really depressing when hearing hundreds are trapped by landslides caused by Morakot.

    Best wishes to them

  • i heard that when u in the center of eye its peaceful because all other thing go round only but not in the center, correct me if i am wrong.

  • Why are you whispering in the video?

  • Holy shit man. I live in Japan, major flooding today near Tokyo!

    Shit is going on!

  • Nice footage james. Well done once again.

  • That is seriously scary stuff!! Hope not too many people are injured or killed :-(

  • Not many is killed, but many is homeless because several villages simply disappeared within a night.

  • why are you whispering? Afraid to wake up the typhoon?

  • Didn't want to wake up the dog....

  • Great video!

  • This typhoon is the worst we have ever had in record. Hope everyone in northern Taiwan do everything they could to help those who suffer in the south.

    HingYok from Taipei

  • You guys are nuts to go out in this weather! Especially in Hualien where the typhoon will hard. Thanks for the footage though! I'm in Hsinchu ... much more protected than Hualien.
