@Zaku186 Non-lead suits, excluding Zakus, do not get Perfect Grade treatment. It's high grade is not bad though.

Maybe 8 or 10 times bigger than a Master Grade kit !

@AzranZala Think about it, a master grade is 1/100, a PG is 1/60. That is only about twice as big if you're using a normal sized master grade. If you're using a bigger master grade like Unicorn or Sinanju it's even less.

@AzranZala It's just math... lol. 1/100 vs. 1/60 is just about only 50-60% bigger. There's no way a PG is 8-10x bigger than an MG. Not even a 1/48 is that much bigger.

its nice however consumer watch: No replacemet branches or parts out side Japan. I haved parts broken and missing something and I am out of luck The plastic is so weak. its for display use only. I do not know where to buy the hands for the Gundam 00 PG grade and HLJ is black market.

@pikabko1 Bandai do offer a parts replacement service outside of japan. HLJ is not black market, if they were then Bandai would not be supplying them with special edition kits or new kits for release day.

Fantastic job. I currently have an airbrush and usually go with flat colours. But after watching your reviews i noticed your gundam kits have a sort of shaded effect on each part. Every part seems to get darker as they draw from the centre to the edges. May i ask how this effect is done?

If you really think you can come up with some argument saying SF is some how better than GP01 please reply, if not take your fanboyism elsewhere

Usually when you say something bad about a kit it means you have it and you can give a credible opinion, so I wanted to ask and see what were it's downsides.

Well of Strike freedom The peg the holds the wings into the backpack snaps off, the one flaw if just to large to overlook since it's main selling point is it's biggest weakness

I was kinda disappointed how only one peg connects it, but I wanted to be positive n believe it might somehow work since they were making this huge hype about it. guess that was wrong. Ah well it's not like I can afford that anytime soon. Nd I am a wing fanboy, not a seed destiny fan. I like strike freedom's design, but I am not going to turn a blind eye to whatever flaws the kits have :)

@narutoman876 It's a great design! but I guess it's kinda ridiculous to expect a marvelous kit out of it since the plausibility of the design itself is kinda crazy. At least not without payin some extra money for steel reinforced parts and stuff like that and paying 300+ dollars on gunpla (while a fun idea) is kinda ridiculous especially if takes you months to save up! Imagine if they did add some stiff like that the price tag would be gigantic!

@7kiku7honda7japan That kit is so flawed you can tell bandai only took a year to engineer it, and didn't put much thought into anything other than, and if you think about it every PG brought in some new piece of Gunpla tech, the last one would be the locks on the joints for PG 00 Raiser, SF had nothing "new" so to speak

@narutoman876 From what I have seen it's not a complex kit, it's built more for looks than functionality. I was kinda disappointed when most of the inner frame was just sandwiched parts (which is why I will wait until I can get it as a gift, or until I run out of gunpla I want to buy, to get it.) But i don't have it so I can't say much. What I still don't understand is how it has 55 runners with twice the weight of PG 00 and minimal detail inner frame wise.

@7kiku7honda7japan I guess Bandai knows that Seed fans aren't "hardcore" gundam fans that like and watch every gundam shows, but are more anime fans that only watch the newest stuff and the less meaningfull stuff, so i think they made it in a "dumbed Down" way, and seed isn't big on mechanical detail or any hard science or tech so the fans wouldn't have cared, and most of seeds fans are girls ( like how in the manuals for certain Seed MGs they show girls building them) so they simplified it

@narutoman876 I am not too sure about that, I would agree more with the whole rushed thing. Seed wasn't a bad series, seed destiny was tolerable as an anime but sucky when compared to other gundam series. I would also kinda agree that some american seed fans are not that familiar to gundam in general, but a lot are. Besides, they aim to what is popular in japan. All the series are pretty well known in japan, including the original and the other UC's. So I don't think that is it.

@GundamThroneEins Bandai didn't even come up with their Action Base until after PG Strike Gundam. So its not that they were being lazy, its that they didn't start making display bases until about 5 yrs ago

Love this OVA series and the MS, very underrated Gundam i find.

Such a sexy kit. Got to be one of the Top 3 Perfect Grades by a long shot.

This is mostly due to the mechanical detail and low gimmick count. Also I am a big fan of the OVA designs. Why isn't there a Ground Gundam/EZ-8 Perfect Grade Bandai? WHY?

This is on my to-get list along with Strike, Astray and MK-II.

Thanks for the really good review, highlighted by the amazing paint job you've done on this. It really helps to sell the kit as well as encourage people to paint every little thing.

what a fantastic kit vegeta , what kind of paint are u using???, i have plenty of color form createx for my airbursh but is a vry long process to paint because you have to apply diferents layer and apply heat besides of a coat...

And wat PG woould yo remmend, im planning on getting the cheaper, the strike but i not a gr9 fan of kira yamato... and i have tthe MG red frame so i dont it would be a wate of money buy the same model in PG...

if they could do a 2 in 1 PG like this,then why didn't they ever make the RX-79 [G] into a PG? they could have given the extra parts to convert it into the EZ-8,maybe throw in the hover tank since it has no core fighter,I'd buy it.

Nice PG and review. for people wanting to get in to building Perfect grades, Do not go for the PG zeta (that was my second pg) best one would be the RX-78-2 or the Zaku 2 J or S depending on you love of the EFSF or Zeon

@NabeshinHT why? the PG zeta is amazing some cons but not that many i think its excellent over all. havent built the RX 78-2 but or the zaku but the strike freedom is really easy for a first timer to PG irritating but good

I'm of the opinion that PGs should be about detail, and this is definitely one of the nicest I've seen in that aspect. The head looks ever so slightly too big to me, but that doesn't detract from the appearance at all.

Very impressive work Vegeta, your developing airbrush skill has only helped the appearance of your projects. I know you've said you don't pose your kits, but do you have any preference as to which mode you'll be displaying?
