  • @coheedislame hi, it's the hint bar and you can enable it in the menu under View -> Toolbars.

  • this is probably the wrong place to ask, but..can i make this just as good on ableton, reason, cubase or pro tools? Which one is best for trance?

  • Didnt know 3osc holds secret such a nice bass sound

  • hello how did u assign the names of ur samples to the mixer that quick?

  • i like this, gonna try making it myself and add a little extras.............

  • Hi, do you use any midi/keyboard while making this beat? I am beginner in FL, what keyboard would you suggest to get? Thank you

  • don't we always need to cut the lowest frequencies from everything besides the kick and bass?

  • @bboyfabolous1994 IMO it all depends on the sounds you're using: if the sound doesnt have any low frequencies theres no point cutting them as there arent any.

  • @howtomakeemusic hmmm, good point in there

    nice videos you've got mate!

    Happy new year!

  • nice!!!!!!!!!

  • Sounds really nice!! keep it up;)

  • i like how i watched this and i dont know what the fuck i'm doing.

  • any good site to download beat packs?

  • @robortalien I have gathered some useful places to download royalty free sample packs on my website: howtomakeelectronicmusic . com/category/free-samples

  • Great tutorial, very helpful. I love how you compressed the bass with the kick, I've been using FLstudio for years and never thought of that. Thanx again

  • EXACTLY what i was looking for. thank you!

  • Where did you get your ''claps'' sounds? Mine sounds so bad for making trance lol.

  • Which kick is that? Love the sound of it.

  • @MikeAdamsMusic indeed! like a deadmau5 kick, kinda ;P

  • how can i get the full Ver. i only have DEMO T_T

  • @douganico crack it?

  • This is the best tutorial I've found. It covers not only how to make a proper beat, but also teaches you about EQ'ing samples and so on. Thank you so much!! :)

  • Claps make me think about DeadMau5's Hi Friend <3

  • Hey can you give my song a listen? I would appreciate some feedback from someone like you so I can keep on improving. I've only been using Fl studio for a couple months so its not the greatest. =( its called Try Harder you can see it on my channel. Thanks!

  • P.S.

Now very attentively listening trance records and loops with trance beats. Trying to understand.

  • Something wrong with utube.

    Hello HTMEM.

Your stuff very and very helpful. Your advices are helpful too.

    My problem is next.

I cann't make normal beats. For example location of drums in my sequences is very bad, sound ugly and they don't give a "trancy effect". I think some rules of drums locations matters, if yes can you write some of them in your opinion?

    Big thanks in advance.

    Waiting for answering.

  • You sir are a fucking saint.

  • half hour video O.O

  • Good tutorial. I'd recommend "Engineers filter" its a freeware IIR filter that filters everything you roll off... even those pesky little frequencies that sometimes are missed by FL Para2

  • @byouno93 thanks for the tip! I've heard the EF is very good

  • where to learn how to youse the effects and the 3x osc waves??:D

  • men please explain me how to do you do the tension build up D: ????!!!!

They said select an effect? but how do you select it, or do you roll it to where or what hahah? PLEASE

  • at 16:40 how do i get the channel your using??

  • @Quinso94 Hi, I'm not sure what do you mean - can you be more specific?

  • @howtomakeemusic At 16:40 in the video when you open the fruity wrapper, when i open mine it just gives you the settings for it i cant choose any chords or anything, Am i doing something wrong? thanks

  • @Quinso94 i think you mean the vst, right? its a freeware synth, google for TAL-Noisemaker and im sure u will find it

  • @Quinso94 (LD Crystal Lead TAL) is the name of setting you want dude.

  • 20:25 dude you can just right click on the controller

  • @DaKidIndian Unfortenately the right-click doesn't work with third party plugins...

  • @howtomakeemusic oh oops didnt know that

  • @howtomakeemusic Hi mate.....your tutorial is the best i've seen so far.i've really learned a lot with you...thanks mate...congrats...

  • dude...you're awesome...

    wats da programs name?

  • @MrGordo93 It's FL Studio :)

  • great tutorial again man thanks!!!

  • Awesome tutorial man, I subscribed, looking forward to more from you!

  • I love the tutorial man. Soon I will post My outcome!!!!!!

  • @wawcraft thanks!

  • You should never use soundgoodizer ... it fucks up the whole track. You should use proper eq, compression and limiter instead.

Seariously, it makes a difference between a track who is signed by a label and tracks who are not

  • @alz230 Thanks for your comment, but in my opinion, if you use SoundGoodizer in a MASTER track there IS going to be a problem, but I don't see the problem using it just with INDIVIDUAL sounds.

Also, I really don't think a one specific sound in the mix "treated" with SG will make a difference whether the track gets signed to a record label or not.

    Just a my opinon though!

  • @howtomakeemusic Hey, cant you just use a cutoff filter to keep the side chain sweep

  • @alz230 Umm, what's the problem with using Soundgoodizer with individual sounds?

  • Great tutorial thank you so much you have helped to inspire me to do more in my music. One thing that I want to point out that I have seen as a common mistake is when you boosted a shelf. It might be better if you use a band pass filter to boost those frequencies because when you boost a shelf you boost everything, even the frequencies above or below the audible range of hearing which can add more volume and is bad for speakers as well great tutorial though I really enjoyed it.

  • Thanks!

  • Very good work, where can I find the hihat of the sweep hihat? Thank you very much

  • @jumalinkin thx! Go to my website (link is in the description box) and download the .zipped project file. You can find the samples there.

  • Dude you make this look so easy, i dont mix my tracks as much as you do! holy crap lol :D

  • very good

  • Maybe I'll switch back to Fruity Loops (from Ableton live ...)

  • @zebulon303 :) but you can use them side by side :)

  • Thank you, that is brilliant !

  • WHere did you get all your samples and sounds? were they free?

  • @lopezCris510 Hi, samples I used in this tutorial where from a free sample pack I downloaded from FLStudiomusic dot com.

  • what do you do after you downloaded TAL? how do you make it work in FL studio? :/ having trouble please help me! I really like the sounds from this plugin. I just dont know what to do after i downloaded it

  • @lopezCris510 Hi, you need to extract it (it's a .zip file) to your default VSTplugins folder (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\vstplugins). After that, open FL Studio and go to Channels -> Add one -> More... click on the Refresh button at the bottom of the menu and choose "Fast Scan". After scanning you should see TAL Noisemaker in the plugins list.

  • Hi Petri, can I ask where you got the drum samples?

  • @jackspic3 Hi, it was a electro house sample pack I downloaded from FLStudiomusic's website.

  • @howtomakeemusic hey thanks!

  • @RickRay9 thx!!

  • @howtomakeemusic 's cool, brohan. I love your videos, 'and you're great at producing music. I'm onto a song right now, 'actually - I was thinking about shaping it into some set of Dubstep, 'without too much of relative Dubstep wobble or bass, 'but with a nice beat and some distant type of wobbles. Heavy Dubstep's really fuckin' cool, though. 'Yeah, keep it up, brohan!

  • there is nothing speacial about progressive trance beat. this style is one of the earliest trance styles and uses progressive house beats. in other words, progressive trance is a hybrid of classic trance and progressive house. derivative forms of progressive trance are uplifting trance, dream trance, hard trance and vocal trance

  • @askadetra Yes.. and I just made this tut to show a one possible way to create a the beat.

  • @howtomakeemusic ok. it's cool by the way. keep doing more tuts like this one. would you do a tut about nitzhonot trance?
